Recently changed my car at Arnold Clark West Bromwich. The experience from start to finish was extremely easy and stress free. All details were explained expertly and honestly and the service that I received was above and beyond! My sales consultant was Davian and he made the entire process simple and straight to the point. All questions and queries were answered ref finance, The Car, warranties etc.. I will 100% return for my next purchase!
GOT A PROBLEM WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE IGNORING YOU?? NO PROBLEM, JUST CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE.... YOU GUYS ARE JUST TROLLING ME NOW!!!!! ORIGINAL REVIEW: "They sold me a car with 3 slow-punctures! I had to pump the tyres back up every 2 or 3 weeks. I returned the car and, incredibly, they could not find any punctures! They made out I was lying. Imagine a big company like Arnold Clark not being able to find tyre punctures!!! The car was returned and since then I've been having to pump up my tyres every 2 or 3 weeks. I've pointed this out to their Customer Services and they just ignore it. Who'd have thought that Arnold Clark are the most pathetic company out there? And yet it would appear that they are.... " REPLY FROM ARNOLD CLARK: "Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and I’m very sorry to hear about the ongoing issues you’ve had with your tyres. I understand how frustrating this must be, especially when the problem has continued after your visit. To make sure this is properly reviewed, please get in touch with our Customer Services team directly: 01416481088"
I am extremely disappointed with the service and sales tactics at Arnold Clark Liverpool (Sefton Street). When I bought my car on PCP in January 2025, I was verbally promised a full 2-year peace-of-mind package (2-year Warranty, 2-year Service, and 2-year Guarantee). I explicitly stated I would not take a PCP deal if I were liable for repairs in the first two years. It has now come to light that I was mis-sold. While I have a 2-year service plan, the warranty was only for 1 year. The Sales Manager, Michael Reilly, has been incredibly dismissive, claiming that because the car "didn't qualify" for a 2-year warranty, it couldn't have been offered—completely ignoring that his salesperson used this promise to get me to sign the finance deal. To make matters worse, the service department has had my car and my documents for nearly a week. They failed to check my coverage until the car was diagnosed, then told me it was "too dangerous to drive away" due to a water pump issue. This left me with no choice but to pay over £280 for a repair I was led to believe was covered. I have now escalated this to Toyota Financial Services as a misrepresentation claim under Section 75. Avoid this branch if you value honest communication and fair treatment.
