I had a very disappointing experience with Arnold Clark Vauxhall in Aberdeen. We had agreed a deal on a vehicle based on 15,000 miles per annum, and the finance application was completed and approved on that basis. Everything was set ā I had arranged insurance and was due to collect the car the following day. However, just three hours before collection, I received a call from the salesman informing me that there had been a mistake. The finance had actually been set up for 8,000 miles per annum instead of the agreed 15,000. I was then told this could be āfixed,ā but it would increase the monthly cost by Ā£20. This is not a small error. Had the higher monthly figure been presented from the start, I would not have gone ahead with this dealership, as we had already received a more competitive quote elsewhere. At that point, I had already committed time, arranged insurance, and had a hard credit check carried out on my file ā all based on incorrect information. The dealership offered Ā£100 as a goodwill gesture, but this falls far short of addressing the issue, given the total additional cost over the agreement is around Ā£1,000. More importantly, it doesnāt compensate for the inconvenience, frustration, and impact on my credit record. Overall, this experience reflects poor attention to detail and a failure to honour an agreed deal. I would advise others to double-check every detail before proceeding, as last-minute changes like this are unacceptable.

The staff were consistently polite, friendly, and helpful throughout. The person handling our purchase was particularly attentive, with excellent communication from start to finish. After around a month of ownership, we noticed that a feature advertised with the vehicle was missing. We returned to the branch for clarification, and the team promptly checked and confirmed the issue. Naturally, this impacts the vehicleās value and overall expectations. Despite the time that had passed, the company handled the situation professionally and showed genuine care for customer satisfaction. They offered a resolution that we felt was fair and appreciated. Overall, this turned into a very positive experience. We would confidently recommend this branch to others and would not hesitate to return for future purchases. Dropped car off to get the entertainment screen check, I knew it was broke before I took it in. Told me it's £1960 to get a new screen, I said no and ordered one of ebay for £72. Picked my car up and it's now in French language which they couldn't fix. £162 to tell me it's broke. RIP OFF. NEVER USING THEM AGAIN
