They can't really they done a video which showed the car was in perfect condition when it goes on the transporter it's out of their control so it is not really there fault but still upsetting at the other end when you are picking up your new vehicle and you are surprised with a little bit of damage even though they are sorting it out it's still took all the shine of the situation as I bought a car of them less than five months ago and it only done 3,000 miles it was a new car so my wife was dead against me buying a new car again all I was doing for a few weeks was trying to persuade her and when she seen the damage she just wanted to walk away but like I said there's nothing really they can do is it's down to the transporter but my deal is not with them it is with Arnold Clark and they sales gentlemen Calum Stewart was very good at the pickup point it was a gentleman called nick in Swansea he was very good I don't blame them for anything they were truly professional
Purchased an MG HS Hybrid+ Trophy and while I am pleased with the car itself, the buying experience had some notable shortcomings. Communication could have been more proactive — I found myself chasing for updates on a number of occasions. The salesmen did try but appeared extremely busy, which may account for some of the issues experienced. On collection day, both sets of keys could not be located and after a lengthy wait I was given a demo car to use while the matter was resolved. Despite a price being agreed and quoted in writing, I was subsequently asked to accept an increase due to a salesman error — something I found frustrating given the deal had already been agreed. On the positive side, the business manager secured a strong trade-in value and the discount on the car was generous. I hope the few issues raised are taken on board.
