Pressure selling follow reservation online Easy enough to reserve car in walefield. However I was unable to make the 24 hour window due to emergency work commitments and child care commitments. Explained this wouldn’t be able to attend and I would need to cancel the reservation. Was pressurised into allowing the car to come to my home address which I didn’t want to do as I wasn’t 100% sure it was the right car for me. Unfortunately the sales assistant wasn’t impressed. After placing me on hold I was aggressively informed that the car was ready (again a deposit to hold the car doesn’t mean I will buy it) and that his manager wanted to know what had changed. Nothing had changed. I was still without a car due to total loss car accident and wasn’t impressed with his tone. As a result I’m going to go elsewhere when things calm down. Just be weary of pressure tactics if you do reserve a car. I wasn’t impressed. Overall I’m glad I didn’t drive up to Wakefield now. I don’t do well under pressure and the tactics on display over the phone was bloody awful. Call was done byindividual called jayon. When I originally spoke to a sales manager initially they were quite helpful and accommodating
Our sales person was Oscar Malone, he was very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about the vehicle. He could also give us impartial honest advice regarding a different make of vehicle that we were considering, he advised us of the pros & cons. He made us feel at ease and was able to have sensible conversation regarding other topics we chatted about whilst doing the application. I would highly recommend Oscar as a very competent sales person.
