We mistakingly paid to put our car on auto trader,and put it on car wow too,total waste of time and very stressful having people waste our time.Phoned this company told us to bring our car,my husband did next day,all sorted sold and done within a hour,wish we just went there first.Friendly staff,and a good selection of high end vehicles if you are going to buy.

Followed Acklam Cars after coming across them on You Tube when looking for a particular car. Up pops Joe on my feed with what I was looking for and easiest part ex and purchase ever plus the whole experience was so easy and pleasurable. Five star plus from DC,, you put others to shame, top notch all at Acklam.
Extremely Disappointing Experience \u2013 Sold a Faulty Car With Serious Issues and Mileage Fraud. I recently purchased an Audi R8 from Acklam Cars and the experience has been nothing short of shocking. Within days of ownership, I discovered multiple serious mechanical faults that made the car unsafe to drive, including harsh braking on cruise control (the car does not have ACC), severe juddering under braking, and vibration on full lock. On top of that, the bodywork had issues such as a large bumper panel gap and touch-ups that were never disclosed at the point of sale. I then obtained the official manufacturer service records, which clearly show major mileage inconsistencies, including multiple drops of over 4,000 miles at different points in its history. This was never disclosed to me, and I only found out after checking the records myself. When I called Acklam Cars to raise these issues, I spoke to Claire, the after-sales manager, who was incredibly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. She refused to discuss anything with me over the phone, showed absolutely no empathy or concern, and was combative and belittling throughout the call. For a dealership of this size, the lack of customer care was unbelievable. To make matters worse, Joe, the salesman who sold me the car, has completely ignored my messages since formally sending in my rejection. No follow-up, no support, nothing. My experience has left me extremely disappointed and frustrated. A dealership should stand by the cars they sell and support their customers when serious issues arise. Unfortunately, that has not been the case here. I would strongly recommend anyone thinking of buying a vehicle from Acklam Cars to do thorough checks and proceed with caution. Currently in the process of rejecting the vehicle, to which they are not taking seriously at all...
