I bought a van from them and after 2 days the van broke down, they said the car was serviced but the mechanic provided enough evidence that the car was not serviced, also he couldn\u2019t provide me proof of service.. They did refund me the money for the van and took it back but the losses true the process (recovery.., days of work.. etc) i had to cover it.. they didn\u2019t even paid for the recovery. My advice is to stay away from this company! They are shady\u2026
After finding a suitable vehicle online, I decided to travel 2 hours to view and then purchase a van from A Kelbie Motors LTD. I was first introduced to Charles and Tony. Two wonderful guys who genuinely wanted to assist me. They even came to collect me (20mins away from the yard) as I\u2019d travelled along with friends for most of the journey. Throughout the purchase and they were extremely patient while I did all my checks. After doing a test drive, I heard a sound coming from the front of the van (driver side). I queried this with Charles and he didn\u2019t hesitate to get this looked at for me. Because this purchase wasn\u2019t done at my usual dealership, I simply had to put my money and faith in Charles and Tony - and they didn\u2019t let me down. Communication was great after the sale via WhatsApp and regular phone calls. They sent a mechanic (Ryan) all the way to my home to replace and fix the intercooler and not just fix the seatbelt, but they delivered and fitted a whole set of two new seats in the front of the van! Excellent! They\u2019ve truly delivered on service and regardless of my initial concerns and reservations of this sale, I\u2019m so glad that I went ahead and put my trust in these guys! Thank you again for a lovely van, great communication and for following through with your promises to make sure that I\u2019m satisfied with the end result. \u201cSome things worth having are worth waiting for\u201d and despite the few small issues I had, these were quickly resolved and taken care of. AVOID!!!!!! I took delivery of a truck from this company and when the delivery driver arrived (who I was told had nothing to do with the company and was a 3rd party delivery driver which then turned out to be a family member who was clearly involved with the company) I asked the driver how does it run, he then said I\u2019ve just driven it 370 miles it runs fine, stupidly believing this I then had a Quick Look round the truck which turned out to be ok for what it was. I then transferred the remaining balance of the truck. I then proceeded to jump in the truck to give the driver a lift to the train station. On starting up the vehicle I noticed straight away that the engine management light was on\U0001f914 so I asked the driver about this and obviously he claimed he knew nothing about it. So I started driving and the truck instantly went into limp mode. So he advised I take it to a local garage as it was under warranty, reluctantly I decided to take it to a family friends garage and when it was plugged into the diagnostic machine it was riddled with faults so this was the last straw and I asked for my money back. Which was sent back quick I have no complaints about that but what the other problem was they refused to send me my \xa3500 back for delivery because they said it was delivered to me and said that they couldn\u2019t give me the money back as it was a 3rd party service. After a bit of back and 4th with the driver and mentioning the police the driver then admitted that the name he gave me was false and that his last name was actually the same as the company. More lies were told when someone from the company phoned him pretending to be someone els and that he needs to get home asap. Just another way to get themselves out of sending me my \xa3500 back. So they say that even tho they have delivered a vehicle that was clearly riddled with faults that I should still have to pay \xa3500 delivery. Clearly just liars and crooks!
Absolutely fantastic experience with Charles and all the staff here at A Kelbie Motors. From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and stress-free. Charles was punctual, friendly, and clearly takes pride in his work. The van was clean, spacious, and in great condition\u2014perfect for our needs.
