The latest Kia Sportage GT-Line is available with a wide range of power sources. There’s a petrol engine with 148bhp, diesels with 113bhp or 134bhp and two petrol hybrids, a ‘full’ hybrid with 226bhp and a plug-in hybrid with 261bhp. The diesels can feel a bit sluggish when accelerating, the other options provide perfectly adequate performance for a mid-size SUV.
The older version of the Sportage (sold new from 2015 to 2021) was available with a 174bhp petrol engine and a selection of diesels with 113bhp to 134bhp.
