The Audi A6 Allroad is a five-door estate car with a more outdoorsy look than the A6 Avant it’s based on. The raised ride height means it can head farther off-road than a standard A6 Avant, while the extra body protection provides some reassurance when the going gets tough. It’s a brilliant family car, with plenty of interior space and lots of standard features.
The A6 Allroad is great to drive, whether you’re on the road or off the beaten track. The suspension is comfortable on a long journey and standard parking sensors and light controls mean the A6 Allroad is easy to drive and park. The optional S tronic automatic gearbox takes the strain out of city traffic. The four-wheel-drive system and high ride height allow the A6 Allroad to tackle off-road tracks and slippery roads. Thanks to a generous braked trailer limit of 2,500kg, the A6 Allroad is an excellent tow car.
The A6 Allroad is the same size as the standard A6 Avant, which means there’s lots of headroom and legroom for everyone on board. The boot has a huge 565-litre capacity, whether you opt for the older A6 Allroad or the car on sale since 2019. An electrically powered boot lid is standard. In the Sport model, standard equipment includes LED headlights, air suspension, sat nav, dual-zone climate control, heated seats, electric seat adjustment and rear privacy glass. The Vorsprung model adds 21-inch alloy wheels, black styling pack, front sports seats, climate control for the back seats, panoramic sunroof and adaptive cruise control. Pre-2019 models have different trims and all have an excellent level of standard equipment.
The A6 Allroad is similarly priced and equally as well equipped as its rivals. The engines are powerful yet efficient. Tax and insurance costs are competitive. Audi is famed for its quality and reliability so the A6 Allroad should be dependable. The Allroad has the same advanced driver safety aids as the A6 saloon, which scored a full five stars in Euro NCAP safety ratings.
The A6 Allroad is Audi’s largest and most luxurious estate car and is bigger and more comfortable than the A4 Allroad. It’s as capable off-road as Audi’s Q5 SUV. The A6 Allroad is similar in size and price to the Mercedes E-Class All-Terrain and Volvo V90 Cross Country.
The A6 Allroad is a stylish, spacious and comfortable alternative to a premium SUV. It’s comfortable, easy to drive and excellent off-road. It also comes with a long list of standard equipment.
The A6 Allroad should be reliable as Audi has an excellent reputation for quality.
The A6 Allroad is available with some very efficient diesel engines and you get lots of standard features for your money.
With its spacious interior and huge boot, the A6 Allroad is a very practical car with more than enough space for a family and their luggage.
