I would not recommend Vertu Volvo Exeter because although my initial experience was good - and the car is excellent - the customer service fell down when there was an issue with my car being recalled. There was a lack of clarity as to when this recall was know about in relation to my sale and to some of the speed of communication following this. However, there were good things too. Once the manger was involved, I felt listened to and a resolution was reached. I couldn’t recommend their services at the moment, but I’m hoping that this will change if the levels of after service reach what has been described to me by Craig.
I recently bought a car from this dealership and had a really positive experience. Taylor and Elliot were excellent throughout the process — responsive, helpful, and easy to deal with. They took the time to understand our questions and provided clear answers without any pressure. Their follow-up was well balanced: attentive without being rushed. Overall, the customer service was very good and made the whole process smooth and straightforward. I’d happily recommend them to others looking for a car.
My experience at Vertu Volvo Exeter could have been better. I had a positive experience purchasing my vehicle, good sales experience with no pressure. I purchased a spare wheel which wasn’t available when i collected my vehicle, it was a week after i purchased! I was told on collection that the wheel would be delivered to me on a certain day, on that day i had a call saying unfortunately there was no one available to deliver which i understood but was also told that i would receive a call later on that afternoon as to when the wheel would be delivered, this didn’t happen and i had to chase it up 2 working days later. I also had to pay a V5C deposit which i was told would be returned to me as soon as they received the V5C. This i also had to chase up and it took over a week to be returned to me. I am very happy with my vehicle and am enjoying it but these problems have really taken the shine off my buying experience.
