Avoid at all costs. Car advertised was high mileage, asked about service history said no history, fair enough. Asked a few more genuine questions at which I was verbally abused and then cut the phone off. Extremely rude person, should not be speaking to anyone like he did. Avoid!
I was surprised at the low ratings on the place, I found Ian to be a sound fella, I bought a car off him , and after a few weeks there became a minor mechanical problem, even though I was over my warranty he got the job sorted, and never charged me an extra penny, he stuck by his word and beyond and fixed it and helped me out, just wish there was other second hand car salesmen with his integrity, thanks again Ian, would of given him 10 stars for being a stand up guy, keep up the good work and honesty because it's a rarity in the second hand car market, can't thank you enough \U0001f44d
Bought a Reliable Honda Civic, The car just about got me home, because the engine was over heating and battery was dead, next day took it for a M.O.T and it was so rusty underneath it would have cost me three times the car value to fix, so had to scrap it, which put me down around \xa3150 in total plis my time, I went back to try get some money off but he didn't want to know, was very rude at first over the phone. Avoid.
Avoid at all costs. After just over two months the Prius I purchased from him became unusable. The hybrid battery had supposedly been replaced, which promptly failed conpletely. Despite our best effort to get this rectified Ian Rennie refused completely to be involved, the Sale of Goods act clearly states it is his responsibility to attempt repair or offer replacement but he palmed us off and said to go directly to the company that replaced the battery at our own cost. This conman refuses to help knowing full well the low priced poor quality cars he sells will only be purchased by people too poor to take him to court. Appalling.
Van was sold to us with a stiff gear stick, the seller was pretty adamant that wd40 would suffice, so insisted I wouldn't need to go through the warranty. After about 2 weeks, it appeared that the van was guzzling diesel and the engine management light appeared, so we had no choice but to go through the warranty. I communicated with Ian but received no reply. The warranty company did their usual "drag the feet" tactics in the hope that the warranty would run out before they had to pay out! I kept on calling until they finally agreed to pay up, however, for the sake of over \xa3500 of damages, the warranty offers the bare minimum. I am not pleased with this company and the lack of communication, we have now lost time and money as this was purchased for business purposes! People should be made aware of rogue dealers like this, like times aren't difficult enough.
Went to view a pick up which was described as in very good condition , when we got there it was only fit for the scrap yard, the salesperson was rude and very unprofessional , when he first approached us I thought he was an homeless guy wanting money for a warm drink , dont spend your hard earned cash at this sorry excuse for a car sales pitch , if I could leave no stars I would have done ,
