The car needed valeting on collection day which being a brand new car it shouldn’t have needed valeting. When I went to collect the vehicle the one parcel shelf clip hadn’t been fitted or had been removed and was hanging loose in the boot and the glove box had been damaged where someone at FRF had forced a plastic pack with spare wheel nuts and the locking wheel nut in before I went to collect the vehicle even though you can clearly see it’s to big and won’t fit in there so now the glove box door doesn’t shut properly making it basically unusable they took it around the back for the mechanics to have a look brought it back and told me it was all fixed but they had only fixed the parcel shelf clip. I tried the glovebox again but no change and noticed that the glove box had marks along the top where someone has used a tool to remove the glovebox damaging the plastic and it still doesn’t shut properly. I pointed this out and was told to book it in for a mechanic to have a proper look at it and spend some time to see if they could fix it, I also pointed out on collection the paint job on the passenger front wing is bad where the base coat has popped but was told it came out the factory like it so was fine. Since then I have found a few other faults with the vehicle including the two front doors have sticky residue on the inside which should have been removed when the vehicle was valeted. The light lenses are continuously misted up inside from condensation which when I told them about it was told it’s normal when a vehicle been standing. (They obviously haven’t been sealed properly). The boot trim is all damaged-the plastic trim got chunks missing, the carpet in the boot and the material across the back of one of the back seat got white pressure lines across like something heavy had been resting on them they look like pressure lines and there’s a chunk of fabric missing out of the back of the back seat. There’s little nicks in the passenger grab handle on the roof. The plastic trim above the passenger seat belt which is an airbag housing ain’t fitted correctly there’s a gap along the top. And the worst point of all is under the boot floor there is a hole that you can see straight through to the floor outside which I checked on another brand new 208 in the show room and it isn’t supposed to be there. Also every now and again it pops up saying right front door open when it’s not which I’m assuming is a dodgy sensor or electrical fault. This was a brand new 25 plate with 4 miles on the clock. It looks like my car was used for storage. When I took the car back to make them aware of all the faults I was told it’s all manufacturing defects even though on collection they admitted the glovebox was damaged due to someone jamming a pack of bolts on there. They’ve offered to have the car in for a technician to have a look at all the faults which I’ve refused because I’m my opinion a brand new car shouldn’t have all these faults and need repairing from collection day and also when they had a look at my glovebox on collection day they gave the car back to me told me it was sorted but it was still not fixed so I’ve lost faith. I’ve contacted Peugeot customer care which was a waste of time their customer service is shocking, absolute shambles avoid anything Peugeot and stellantis. I am in the process of seeking legal advice and will be taking this further. I tried rejecting the vehicle but was told his hands were tied which when I told Peugeot customer care they told me they can’t see why he said his hands were tied. The customer service is terrible. Anyone thinking about buying a Peugeot do your research.

I bought my volvo xc40 back in Febuary. Jonathan dealt with the sale of the car and answered my questions that I had. The car was delivered to my house spotlessly with all the paperwork and spare key. I did have an issue with the lights which was dealt with swiftly. I would definitely buy from here again and would recommend to family and friends.

I would never ever used Car Warehouse or FRF Motors ever again and would urge every person who is on this website to read my story and reconsider buying your car from there. I purchased a Vauxhall Grandland in September 2022 and not long after purchasing the car I got engine fault lights which turned the power off on the car. This was taken into the dealership where it was a recall on a wet timing belt. Not long after this was replaced I had oil pressure dash lights and when consulted at my local garage as it was nearer. It was stated the car uses quite a bit of oil and to keep it topped up. I did this and found it was costing me a fortune to keep buying oil as it was uses a lot. My warranty had expired so I had to use my local garage to do the work as it would cost me \xa3125 just for a diagnostic from FRF Bridgend which I have now found out you only pay for an hour and if they dont find the issue in that hour then not much they can do you only pay for an hour. kept having to top up oil and I repeated on numerous times when I spoke to dealership in warranty and my local garage out of warranty I repeated that my car seems to be burning oil as its using so much. I then started getting engine fault lights again and had oil and filter changes , camshaft sensor changes and in December 2024 I was told by my local garage that my turbo had seized due to lack of oil. I paid for a new turbo and a new battery as that had gone also and the car was driveable but still needed oil being bought for it and the car was driveable for 6 weeks. I finally managed to book my car into FRF Bridgend as I wanted them to check this due to me buying the car from them and the numerous issues I had. When I booked it into FRF Bridgend for the 31st March 2025 I had low power issues and electrical circuit fault on my dash. My battery which I only just replaced was not charging also. When I got to FRF Bridgend I was greeted by Glyn and was told I was not booked in to which I showed him the email evidence of me booking it in and for a courtesy car also. He said he would take the car in but I had no chance of a courtesy car and when my wife asked him he said if I wanted a courtesy car that he could book me in 28th April 2025. Myself , My wife and my 8 year old daughter was then made to pay for a taxi home and Glyn called me that afternoon and said I needed a new Battery Control Unit and a full service on the car. On the 3rd May 2025 he called me again to say Battery control unit has fixed the electrical fault and that battery is charging and after service I still had a low power issue. They checked it further and found the Turbo had seized again. My local garage said it is in warranty and FRF asked me to take my car off the lot. My garage checked and confirmed turbo seized and said it is a Vauxhall turbo purchased by Bassets Part Centre. I went back to book it into FRF who refused because they didn't order the turbo despite it being a genuine Vauxhall part. I had to make a complaint with Vauxhall Customer Care and after a month FRF finally accepted my vehicle in to be worked on. After 3 weeks of testing and going back with the manufacturer the dealership called me to say I needed a new turbo and a new engine. I was quoted \xa38100 to repair the vehicle. I complained to Beth Williams the service manager and Dan the sales manager at Car Warehouse Bridgend to discuss the issues I have experienced since purchasing the car in September 2022 and advised my issue that the engine fault was not detected in their previous diagnostic report and was told its because I only pay for an hour and that they would only spot this when checking the turbo diagnostic. I demanded due to the issues that has affected me emotionally and mentally that my finance be settled due to the amount of issues I have had with the car since I bought it from them and as of 3rd June 2025 I have been told they will do nothing to help and only option I got is to repair the vehicle or terminate my finance and get a default on my credit file. I would give 0 stars if I could.
