If I could still return the car I would and walk away. I have no confidence left in it. Spoticar warranty is not worth the paper it's printed on, they'll find any excuse not to cover any problems. Had to replace battery in first few months and to be fair carwarehouse covered this for me but it's been problem after problem since and the checks are quite obviously not sufficient, my last car dealership was great and I had no issues with the car for at least the first few years. This one had a blocked fuel filter - filters aren't covered on the warranty but the service employees said that its checked every service and usually replaced - so this one wasn't checked as he said it was badly blocked and wasn't replaced as it couldn't be that bad in a few months = nearly \xa3300 cost to me. Now the indicators have stopped working and I took it back and they said if its a wire it won't be covered and I'd be liable for that and all the hours spent trying to find it - for an issue that I very much doubt had begun in the 5 months that I've had the car if its a wire. The windscreen has a chip in it which i discoverd was present on the previous mot so they've just filled it to pass that mot and now it's worn off. They didn't even replace the rear brakes before selling it for \xa38k as I've got to get those replaced already as well. I'll never use this place, frf motors or spoticar again and I'll make sure to let everyone know that it's not worth the hassle. Edited to say that it had to go into hyundai to recondition gearbox -luckily was under warranty- before first mot. And now second mot this car has failed on a handbrake issue- noticeable throughout the time I've had the car and when I'd mentioned it to Rachel at carewarehouse she'd said it probably just needed the pads etc taken off and cleaned and put back together - she'd inferred that having them and discs changed at kwikfit had not been necessary which is obviously not the case as I have to now pay hyundai to investigate the issue as its out of warranty. It has also failed again on gearbox issue and again have to pay for investigation. This car is a Lemon. Wish I'd never bought it.
The car needed valeting on collection day which being a brand new car it shouldn’t have needed valeting. When I went to collect the vehicle the one parcel shelf clip hadn’t been fitted or had been removed and was hanging loose in the boot and the glove box had been damaged where someone at FRF had forced a plastic pack with spare wheel nuts and the locking wheel nut in before I went to collect the vehicle even though you can clearly see it’s to big and won’t fit in there so now the glove box door doesn’t shut properly making it basically unusable they took it around the back for the mechanics to have a look brought it back and told me it was all fixed but they had only fixed the parcel shelf clip. I tried the glovebox again but no change and noticed that the glove box had marks along the top where someone has used a tool to remove the glovebox damaging the plastic and it still doesn’t shut properly. I pointed this out and was told to book it in for a mechanic to have a proper look at it and spend some time to see if they could fix it, I also pointed out on collection the paint job on the passenger front wing is bad where the base coat has popped but was told it came out the factory like it so was fine. Since then I have found a few other faults with the vehicle including the two front doors have sticky residue on the inside which should have been removed when the vehicle was valeted. The light lenses are continuously misted up inside from condensation which when I told them about it was told it’s normal when a vehicle been standing. (They obviously haven’t been sealed properly). The boot trim is all damaged-the plastic trim got chunks missing, the carpet in the boot and the material across the back of one of the back seat got white pressure lines across like something heavy had been resting on them they look like pressure lines and there’s a chunk of fabric missing out of the back of the back seat. There’s little nicks in the passenger grab handle on the roof. The plastic trim above the passenger seat belt which is an airbag housing ain’t fitted correctly there’s a gap along the top. And the worst point of all is under the boot floor there is a hole that you can see straight through to the floor outside which I checked on another brand new 208 in the show room and it isn’t supposed to be there. Also every now and again it pops up saying right front door open when it’s not which I’m assuming is a dodgy sensor or electrical fault. This was a brand new 25 plate with 4 miles on the clock. It looks like my car was used for storage. When I took the car back to make them aware of all the faults I was told it’s all manufacturing defects even though on collection they admitted the glovebox was damaged due to someone jamming a pack of bolts on there. They’ve offered to have the car in for a technician to have a look at all the faults which I’ve refused because I’m my opinion a brand new car shouldn’t have all these faults and need repairing from collection day and also when they had a look at my glovebox on collection day they gave the car back to me told me it was sorted but it was still not fixed so I’ve lost faith. I’ve contacted Peugeot customer care which was a waste of time their customer service is shocking, absolute shambles avoid anything Peugeot and stellantis. I am in the process of seeking legal advice and will be taking this further. I tried rejecting the vehicle but was told his hands were tied which when I told Peugeot customer care they told me they can’t see why he said his hands were tied. The customer service is terrible. Anyone thinking about buying a Peugeot do your research.

I bought my volvo xc40 back in Febuary. Jonathan dealt with the sale of the car and answered my questions that I had. The car was delivered to my house spotlessly with all the paperwork and spare key. I did have an issue with the lights which was dealt with swiftly. I would definitely buy from here again and would recommend to family and friends.
