Took my A Class into Colchester Stratstone MB for a service. Everything went fine all passed except the front windscreen wipers were according to the Technician were worn, didn't clear the windscreen and were in need of immediate replacement at a cost of aorund £45. The blades (Bosch) were very recently fitted at Autoglass in Colchester. Due to having a cracked windscreen replaced. I refused and took the vehicle back to Autoglass who confirmed the blades were fine and tested them which confirmed the condition. Why did Mercedes recommend replacing them? I can confirm the blades clear the windscreen excellently No smearing. No streaking.
