I purchased a Volvo XC90 from Volvo Cars Cardiff, and the process was smooth. Richard Grace got in touch promptly after my enquiry and provided clear information without any pressure. He even picked me up from the train station on handover day, making things very convenient. The car was ready within a couple of hours, and I drove home pleased with my purchase.
Once again, I was served by Oscar Grieve in Bath. He’d already sold me a white T-Roc but after going in for its annual service, I noticed a new black edition + model in the showroom. We talked through the spec and then the finance. I had a set rate I could afford, and Oscar told me to leave it with him. He came back with an acceptable figure and then he managed all the transactions in a quiet and professional manner. This time I took out finance and he patiently talked me through that process. He is always calm, friendly and professional and makes one feel they’re in good hands, without any pressure. I collected the car yesterday and it was a great handover. Thanks Oscar.
I was a bit unsure about the process at first, but I felt more comfortable as things moved along. Amelia was very helpful and took the time to explain everything clearly, which made it much easier for me. She kept me updated as much as possible and handled all the paperwork quickly, which I appreciated. The whole process felt smooth, and her friendly manner made it easy to ask questions without feeling rushed or awkward.
The sale of my VW and part exchange of current car was handled by Alessio Boniolo. Disappointed that your long term regular customers haven’t been informed that you’ve ended your Skoda franchise. Could have had an email. Update 24 Mar 2026: I have not responded to Mon Motors request for additional information, however will provide more context here: As a regular customer for many years, purchasing several vehicles from them and associated things such as service plans. I have always received emails and texts re service reminders, offers and sales of e.g.service plans. When calling to book my actual service was informed about them no longer having the Skoda franchise and to call Sinclairs, another company now offering it. So again, my 1 star review relates to not receiving any information from Mon Motors re the changes despite them being able to previously for their benefit. For not offering my details directly following this review I have been made aware that it may result in this review being removed. I thought anonymity was a reviewers choice here?
The transaction was handled remotely over the phone. Communication was clear and professional, and I was kept informed throughout. They followed up when necessary, which made the process smooth. While I appreciated their approach, I was disappointed not to receive the free services I’ve had in previous purchases from other Audi centres. This has usually allowed me to budget for the future running costs of this new car. But I guess they had their own reasons for not giving the services to me.
