I bought a car outright from FOW at their Winsford location and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a company, and no, that is not hyperbole. I went to pickup the car at 2:40pm and ended up not leaving until 7pm. Wasted my entire Friday night and caused me immense stress. They do not clean their cars. It was filthy and full of colonies of white mould. The seat belt was damp and covered in green mould. Every time they brought it out I'd find more mould within a couple of seconds of looking. They brought the car in and out four times before it was finally not a health hazard. This completely ruined the experience of picking up a new car I paid £13k for. The poor saleswoman was supposed to finish work at 5pm but ended up stuck with me until 7pm. The sales manager seemed apologetic and assured me the whole team was giving the car a full valet but it was still full of mould, and you could find it within seconds of looking. All they were doing was cleaning the absolute bare minimal in the hopes that I would just leave. Even after all this, I will still need to take the car for a professional valet because there's still stains, dirt and small amounts of white mould left. People buy from big dealers because they think they're safer but FOW is no different from any other cowboy dealer. They take your money, give you the keys and hand the car to you in whatever condition it happens to be in. They won't do an MOT, they won't do a service, they won't clean it, they won't touch it up and they only offer a 30 day warranty because the Consumer Rights Act 2022 forces them too. They are a cowboy dealer that does the bare minimum required. I've seen small garages offer at least a 6 month warranty as its almost impossible for something to go critically wrong with your car within 30 days. You can buy a car from these people but seriously do your research and expect the car to need work/cleaning. They will gleefully sell you a rotten tin can on wheels if you're dumb enough to buy it. The only reason I will not be returning the car is because I know cars and I know what to do with it, if you're inexperienced with cars do not buy from these people, its almost as risky as buying a car off of someone's drive way. Friday the 13th truly is the unluckiest day of the year.

Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Mike Brown helped us purchase our car, he was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and answered my questions clearly. We had a test drive, loved the car and returned 3 working days later to collect. The whole process was quick and easy. We are very pleased with our purchase.
