The new showroom and service centre are a big improvement from their previous site and easier to get to. Staff very helpful particularly Matt on Service Reception. Had a slight issue when they didn't have a part to finish the job so had to go back a few days later when they had the part.
Dear directors- get those P45s out I went into this garage with the plan to buy a Ford Explorer… a cash sale and trade in… what a waste of time! After viewing the showroom car, by a first class saleswoman. I was handed over Jason by the what I took to be the manager. His couldn’t be bothered attitude was a great start. I found a vehicle I wanted one year old and he wanted to view, photo and inspect my car.. he then spend the next ten minutes with the finance manager to say we need to send it off to head office for a price. Ok I said call me. Not wanting to lose out on my purchase, I called next day - told still waiting.. then next day spoke to a manager to be told I will get Jason to call you or I will call back later - still waiting. I called on the Friday, told the finance manager has access to the figures so don’t know - still waiting. Called on Monday no one available will call you back…. Come on have a guess (still waiting). Do you want to sell cars? AWD Explorers up to 60k. The answer is still waiting. So, to sum up…. Hopeless, unreliable and if you have ordered are you still waiting? Looking forward to hearing from a group director… as your branch needs a staff revamp! I’m waiting.
Just be warned to check the car over before you pay for it. If you find fault with it like my son did waning light on dash key problem,white paint splasher on the bonnet, smelling on ouder/smoke, cosmetic damage to the interior etc,you will not get hold of the sales manager Shaun the old chestnut come in to play he's in a meeting,not at his desk,on another photo.out look at car etc will ring you when and if he rings he has memory lose/and forget my son has wait 3 WEEKS for repairs.
10k service ended up 1k over, we waited an hour for the car to be valeted, to find he was on lunch and we would have to come back another day and we waited an hour again, the valet was minimum effort, outer wash, not wiped down, inner hoover, no surfaces cleaned, automatic systems were turned off for the service but were not reset as they were set up and didn't inform me of such.
