To say this is a Motabilaty dealership the customer care is discussing. I dread to think how their staff are treated I can’t be the only customer with health issues that need their car collected ,or unable to sit and wait for hours. My son helped me, he asked them to ring him when they’d done the service, they couldn’t be assed, I rang them and we got held up in rush hour traffic instead of a 15 min driver took nearly an hour to get home. That’s a bloody long time when you don’t feel well.
Avoid Ford Commercial Provan Road – Fraudulent Billing and Incompetence It's has been a nightmare. I brought my van in with a specific diagnosis: a noisy brake dust cover. Instead of fixing it, they charged me a massive £350 just to "investigate." > They essentially double-charged me on labour for a problem I had already identified for them. To make matters worse, they put 16 miles on my van for a "test drive." Why do you need to drive a vehicle 16 miles to check a squeak clutch noisy? It’s a blatant excuse to use my fuel and time for their own errands. After all that money, the noise is still there. They didn't listen, they overcharged, and they provided zero resolution—just a bill and the keys. This isn’t a service center; it’s a rip-off. I’ll be taking this to Trading Standards and Ford UK immediately.
While I am pleased with the car itself, the overall experience has been very disappointing from the outset. There were significant delays in receiving the vehicle, which appeared to stem from internal issues between Evans Halshaw dealerships. Communication throughout the process has been consistently slow, and this has only worsened since the sale was completed. Issues identified and agreed to be resolved on the day of purchase were not addressed within a reasonable timeframe, despite assurances they would be handled promptly. I have frequently had to chase for updates, often sending multiple follow-up emails before receiving a response. This has made the process unnecessarily frustrating and time-consuming. Overall, I do not feel that I have received an acceptable level of customer service, particularly given the need to repeatedly pursue updates on matters that were raised and agreed upon at the point of sale.
Had a brand new ford explorer in January and the day I took it home the alarm started going off randomly at all different hours for the first three days I had it. Evans halshaw Cardiff came to collect it took it away for testing. They had it for 2/3 months and kept saying the alarm wasn’t going off and I’d have to take it back and that there was nothing wrong with it. Turned out they had disabled sensors and were hoping for me to take it back. Finally got the car rejected. Stay away from them as they are not trustworthy
