Husband took his car there due to a service recall. They used my details (I don't know why they still had these as it has been a long time since I've dealt with them) rather than go through the process of setting the car up in his name. On 17 February this year I received both a text and an email telling me my car was due for a service. It had my husband's car's details so I emailed back telling them it wasn't my car, it wasn't due for a service and they did not have my permission to contact me about it. Same happened again on 24 February, replied by email again. On 6 March I received a text from Miracle, again with the same statement that my car was due for a service. I text back saying it wasn't my car, it wasn't due for a service and to stop using my contact details. Today I've received another text and email exactly the same as the first two, so I'm going to be reporting them - misuse of my data, whatever I can find.
My wife and I visited the mg dealership in Banbury and was impressed by the welcome we received and talked through the various options that were available without obligation. We were impressed with the staff member that helped us make our decision, his name was Tim and he was very professional in his approach and handling of our queries. We made a decision and we had the car the same day. We were delighted. He also called us 2days after the sale to ask us how we were liking the vehicle regarding its handling and performance. It was all a very present experience. John.
Shane and all the team are always very welcoming and always happy to help. My Corsa had an intermittent fault. Which was soon identified and resolved the same day. Even though my car is on the Motability scheme, they are never and less than happy to assist me, even explain everything in a way that I can understand, plain and simple and no fuss. Thanks ladies and gents you all are amazing 🤩
I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with this company. I purchased a vehicle in January, since then it has developed two faults, when I contacted the service department to book it in to have the vehicle checked, I was told I would need to pay £300 plus to have a diagnostic check run on the vehicle as I hadn't purchased a warranty, this would seem a contradiction to the Consumer Rights Act, unless I have misread the terms of the Act. Also when reviewing my purchase agreement I noticed a charge of £99 for customer pack, when I questioned what this was for I was told admin charges, how wonderful, I get to pay for them to do their paperwork!
