Bought a good car at a good price. Engine failed after two months despite trying to get it back in to be repaired. Advised it should be fine to drive then total engine failure on a dual carriageway. Three weeks to get a courtesy car, still in the courtesy after 6 weeks. No email to complain and now longer answering phone to me. They had offered a new car but I have no idea when ready. Prepared to amend review if and when resolved. Wish I never bothered though
Went to go and see a car on a Wednesday, was happy with the car so agreed to come back on the Friday and purchase the car so they could MOT and service. Came back Friday and there was a big dent in the back panel. Did not buy as they didn\u2019t tell us they had damaged it. Then took 4 weeks to get my deposit back after many calls, texts and emails most of which were ignored.
Just avoid. Bought a car 2 months ago. Had a coolant leak and 3/4 tyres have no pressure sensors, both issues would have been obvious prior to sale. Brought it back under warranty but the issues persist. Car has since been seen by a proper mechanic who doubts it ever even saw a decent service. I also never received the new V5 log book. I asked them about this when I brought the car back under warranty and was told they would fill in a V62. 3 weeks later the DVLA says they've still never received a thing. The new keeper slip I was given wasn't even from the latest log book. So I'm out of pocket having to sort this also. I'd ring and complain except their phone is never answered. Steer well clear!
I bought a mini from the company and needed a vehicle urgently. However, the vehicle had some after work that needed to be completed. Most of the after work was completed after the sale, when I dropped the vehicle back to them. However, in an ideal world, this work should have been completed prior to the car being put up for sale. I was made aware of the fact that the car needed a new cam belt and service when I bought it. However, the petrol cap locking mechanism was defective, along with the rear screen jet and a broken drive side wing mirror glass. Everything was completed, apart from the petrol locking cap mechanism. I was told that they didn\u2019t have the part for this, even though lots of notice was given as to this defect, prior to the return of the vehicle for the work. If the locking cap was rectified, this would have been a 5 star review. But I was happy that most of the issues were rectified, however, in an ideal world, defects should be sorted prior to putting vehicles up for sale. On the flip side, I decided to buy the vehicle with known defects and was a risk that I took. I was happy overall with the vehicle itself and the after sales support. Thankyou.
After very traumatic circumstances losing my car the owner and staff at DTM have gone above and beyond to help me, as a woman on my own their professional manner was exceptional. Would highly recommend this business to the public. Totally over the moon with my new car. Thank you again DTM motors Plymouth
Recently purchased my new Citroen Clio from here and very happy. Staff very friendly, helpful and professional. Made sure everything was in order before I took the car away and gave me all the relevant paperwork. Can highly recommend this place if you are looking to purchase your next vehicle.
