My daughter has just bought an Hyundai I20 in white ( her dream car ) from DCC cars Darlington. After looking at a few dealers local to us with disastrous results I stumbled across DCC cars on the AA site. Overall from start to finish the service from Neil has been impeccable they have such high standards and their reputation is so important to them it doesn\u2019t go unnoticed. I wouldn\u2019t hesitate to recommend Neil and dcc cars. Not only that but when I need my next car he will be my first port of call. 5star + service From the first msg of interest I sent, Neil responded with a phone call within 10 minutes. In that call he gave me all the history of both the car and DCC as a reputable company. From there I paid the deposit so he could start to prepare the car for my daughter. I\u2019ll be honest I was nervous about transferring the money having only seen the car online and no test drive!! But I needn\u2019t have worried everything was absolutely fine . Neil kept me fully updated by calls and text on what was happening with the car from sending pics of it being up on the ramps getting checked over to sending more pics of the mot and invoice as ready. It was due to be delivered on the Sunday but Saturday afternoon he updated me with an issue of water in the brake sensors. Neil explained how he wouldn\u2019t send it out anything less than \U0001f4af and replaced both sensors before it left the showroom. It turned up the following Sunday as we arranged and a personal call the day before giving me an ETA and it turned up absolutely perfect and exactly as the photos showed,delivered by Jack who was polite,friendly and talked through the paperwork and car with my daughter . We had a little issue with the spare key but Neil said to post it straight back and he\u2019d have it repaired and returned asap. Purchased a car off them recently and absolutely made up . Within a few days they had the mot and service complete and it came with a full service history and recent mot\u2019s. The cars a much better value than other garages in the area and the salesmen\u2019s was polite and efficient . Highly recommend
5 star, bought a Kia ceed gt from these guys. Didn\u2019t have time view in person, so went off the pictures and video from there website and a phone call. Very happy with the car, it was exactly how it was described on the add and over the phone. Highly recommend these guys. They even delivered the car to me even tho I lived 1.5 hrs away from them. Good to see there is still some good, honest and genuine garages out there and these are definitely all of that. They even provided the car with 6 months warranty. Highly recommend checking these guys out for your next car purchase.
I had a great experience at DCC where I\u2019ve just bought a lovely, shiny, red VW The team (including 2 kind Men In Black) was professional, friendly, and made the entire process smooth from start to finish. Great dealership, bought a Citroen C3 Picasso recently and am very happy with my new car. It's a great car for the price. My daughter and I visited Darlington Cars and Commercial on the recommendation of another car dealer who didn\u2019t have cars within my daughter\u2019s budget. We were immediately impressed with the warm but not pushy welcome we received from Jack. He showed us three cars which were priced closest to our budget. He listened to my daughter\u2019s likes and dislikes, offered sound advice and didn\u2019t put us under any pressure. My daughter was attracted to a Peugeot 208, which was a bit more expensive than she wanted to spend, but having driven it and been offered a tank of fuel, 12mths warranty, full MOT, we made the decision to purchase it. Jack also then offered to make up two new registration plates for Hannah\u2019s personal number at no cost to us - an additional kind and most welcome offer. My daughter\u2019s old car had already been advertised on Auto Trader but with little interest. A part exchange was offered by Jack but on the advice of Neil, the sales manager, we re-advertised on Facebook and reduced the asking price. We were enabled to delay the purchase of the new car while we sought a purchaser and within 24 hours we sold the old car for over twice the part ex offer. My daughter was obviously delighted. We were left feeling very impressed with the way both Jack and Neil advised us and handled the sale. Unfortunately, on the day we collected the car, an electric wing mirror was found not to be working, although it had worked on the test drive. We were advised to \u201cdrop in any time\u201d to have it repaired but when we rang to say we were on our way a day or two later, we were told not to come that particular day and to come the next. We changed all our plans for those two days but when we eventually arrived we were then told the mechanic couldn\u2019t just drop what he was doing to help us. We had a difficult and frustrating conversation with a member of staff after our wasted journey. We felt he was obstructive, unhelpful and unsympathetic. A short time after we got home, we received a call from Neil apologising for the situation, offering to collect our car the next day and to take it for us to have the repair fixed. Unfortunately, this was too late as my daughter was going away early the next day. The mirror remains inoperative but Neil has assured us that once she is settled in her new home in Edinburgh, he will send any parts required to a local garage and cover the cost of repair if she takes it in to be fixed. This seems to us to be a very reasonable offer to remedy the situation. Well done Neil and Jack. We have no hesitation in recommending Darlington Cars and Commercials.
We bought a used car and the service we received was brilliant. They brought the car all the way down to York for us to test drive, fixed a couple of problems, and then delivered it back to us - all very easy. After a few months another few problems were discovered and they agreed to fix these at cost price without charging labour - a big saving on what we would have had to pay at our local garage. So we are very happy customers - will know where to go the next time we want to buy a car \U0001f60a
