I recently purchased a car from cottage on Saturday, they make sure everything is up to scratch and done my MOT on Monday for me I collect it today made the team sure the car is clean and also put engine oil inside my car too make sure I am ready to go, I would recommend anyone to come to cottage cars to buy cars and it’s really affordable prices ones again thank you 🤩

This place is the easiest place to check for used cars. I was looking for my first car and have no idea where to start. Until I found one of their cars posted online. I called them and I was able to talk to with George and Kevin. They are very chill and I know they were very busy but despite that, they entertained all my questions . They even waited for my visits evethough I came there during closing hours. They just instantly handed me the key to the car to have me check it and offered me to test drive it which I ask George to drive it for me which he did. And George discussed right off which needs to be fix and all thay stuff. What I like about them is they are not pushy sellers. They will just really wait for you to decide what you want. There was no pressure at all, although I know I pressures myself since its literally my first car. When I finally decided, Kevin helped me pay the tax and George helped me with the wet belt replacement which he offered to replace it free of service. They had a supplier for it which a lot cheaper than the Peugeut qoutation. I could have paid 750 for the parts if I went for Peugeut themselves, but with George's contact, I only paid 200 for the parts. They also had contact with low monthly financing. They were by far the lowest from all the financing agents I've contacted with. Definitely recommended. Easy to talk to and won't pressure you at all.

Bought a car almost a month ago, and it’s nothing but amazing. The prices of the cars are fairly good and an amazing range of different options. The experience of buying a car here at cottage cars was really nice. The staff is absolutely helpfull !

I would avoid this company at all costs. I bought a car from them back in January 2025, seemed like a genuine and decent garage initially. Whilst driving this car home (1.5 hour drive) the engine management light came on so the next day I phoned them up and said as this car came with a three month warranty. They told me to go take it to a garage and get it plugged in and the light switched off so I done this. A few weeks later the light came back on to which they responded telling me I had to bring it back to them so I did. They had my car for four days when the car was ready to collect I asked if they fixed the issue to which they responded “no it just needed a system update” I thought this was off but trusted the garage therefore I continued to drive the car. Eventually the car completely broke and became un drivable as there was an issue in the first instance that they didn’t address they instead just wiped the fault code. The finance company I used to buy the car accepted and agreed that the vehicle was faulty from sale and the garage eventually came to collect it. The man who came to get it was extremely rude to me. A month down the line they have still kept the vehicle in my name and have been driving around in it as I received a police letter for a driving offence, I am currently in the process of appealing this. This company have caused me months of stress, they do not sell honest and reliable cars and they will be very rude to you if there is a problem . Just be wary I would hate for someone to go through what I have with them.
