I genuinely regret buying a car from Coopers Car Sales and I could not imagine a worse experience. My partner and I bought a Jeep Renegade in March 2025. The initial experience was good and they provided what seemed like a good service. We travelled from the West Midlands to collect the car and agreed on a slightly lower price than it was listed for, so overall it seemed like a great experience. Little did we know that just one week later my partner and I would be left on the side of the road with a wheel that was barely attached to the car. If this had happened on the motorway, I dread to think what the outcome could have been. After taking the car to a garage to be inspected, we were given a quote of around \xa31,000 worth of repairs, which luckily the warranty covered most of. We also discovered that the air conditioning did not work at all, something that was never mentioned at the point of sale and would have cost us around \xa3120 to fix ourselves, as this was not covered under the warranty. I called the garage myself and explained everything, expecting at the very least an apology or some explanation as to how this could happen so soon after buying a car that was described as being in brilliant condition. I asked whether they would inspect the car themselves or offer compensation, or even a full refund and take the car back. Their response was that we should just “call it even” because we had some money off the car when we bought it. I was in complete shock at what I was hearing and the tone they used — it felt like I was speaking to a completely different person to the one who sold us the car. Even after coming out of the garage, the car continued to develop numerous issues with the electrics and systems. This genuinely left us scared to travel far in the car, as we had no trust that it was safe to drive at all. I sent them a letter explaining that we were within the 30 days of purchase and had the right to a refund or replacement. They did receive my letter, as they had to sign for it, but I never received any response. I then sent another letter with a deadline for a reply, but again there was complete silence. From reading other people’s reviews, there are now multiple customers sitting with cars on their drives that they cannot trust. We came to Coopers Car Sales because they seemed genuine and trustworthy, but that now feels like nothing more than a front to secure a sale. Once you have bought the car, I can vouch that they want absolutely nothing to do with you and will not help if anything goes wrong. I hope people are extremely wary before buying a car from this garage and understand what they may be getting themselves into.

I bought a Fiat Panda Multijet diesel in August 25 I am happy with this purchase. My contact in viewing and buying was with Wayne who was most helpful. No pressure to buy. I had brought a friend who was an experienced mechanic to check the vehicle, Wayne was open and happy for the inspection to be made.I was looking at an older car,so needed to have realistic expectations. This was to replace my Fiat Panda Multijet that had served me well for twelve years with little maintenance expense. Many thanks to Wayne for his good customer service.

In 2022, we purchased a Škoda Octavia from Coopers and initially had a positive experience. When a minor issue arose, it was handled quickly and professionally. Several years later, having sold that vehicle, we returned to Coopers due to our previous good experience to purchase another used car. Needing a reliable and spacious family vehicle, we purchased a Peugeot 3008. Unfortunately, our experience since then has been extremely disappointing. In just four months of ownership, the vehicle has been returned to Coopers for repairs on five separate occasions, with the current fault still unresolved. Most concerning was a failed repair that resulted in the vehicle breaking down and leaving my heavily pregnant partner stranded on the side of a major carriageway. After Coopers had the vehicle for approximately one month, we attempted to formally reject it due to ongoing issues. Despite multiple emails, we received no response until we sent a further message highlighting that the legal 14-day response period had been exceeded. Rather than contacting us to discuss the matter, Coopers returned the vehicle by abandoning it on our street, posting the keys through our door and leaving without notice or communication. We now find ourselves at a complete impasse: in possession of an unreliable vehicle that we no longer feel safe using for our family, and dealing with a company whose owner and co-owner appear unwilling to engage or take responsibility. The only option being implied is to pursue the matter through small claims court. This is a deeply disappointing outcome with a company we trusted and returned to for multiple purchases. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we can no longer recommend Coopers.

I contacted Coopers car sales regarding a Land-rover they had advertised and tbh had no usual rubbish you get from most used car traders. They put a fresh MOT on it, despite it still having a decent bit remaining. Vehicle was well presented and we were left alone to check it out and test drive. It drives almost like new and needless to say I bought it and drove it away the same day. I travelled two hours to see it but it was well worth it. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip back to West wales ! Thanks Gents,A1 service.

Do not buy from this garage. AVOID at all costs I purchased a car for 5k on 29th October, after driving the car on one short journey the next day it packed in, they came to collect it and have had the car ever since! almost 7 weeks on and still no update. Communication has been non existent, they ignore emails and now ignoring phone calls. After speaking to trading standards we rejected the car under consumer rights act 2015 via email but as always no response. We issued a letter last week to start court proceedings and I look forward to see if they actually respond to this one! So 7 weeks on we are 5k down and no car!! And a very unhappy 17 year old daughter who passed her test and has been without a car :-(

I bought a car from Coopers with a 3 month warranty, the battery needing changing before the warranty ran out. Coopers replaced the battery free of charge even though the battery wasn't covered by the warranty and I had the car back in a short amount of time and I was very happy with their quick service. Thanks again to Coopers

So the process of buying the car went smoothly, but that's when it all started to go wrong. I won't go into detail but the car had issues and after care / customer service was terrible. Car still has unresolved issues that they haven't fixed and whilst they were investigating the issues the car was returned with scratches to the body work. Also - they don't respond to any emails, so having anything in writing isn't possible. I wouldn't buy from them again.

I had a truly great customer experience during my first interaction with Coopers Car Sales. When I reached out about an issue, Luke was incredibly helpful. He resolved everything efficiently, and I was especially pleased that all repairs were paid in full. This level of service really sets Coopers Car Sales apart. I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and customer-focused car dealership.

Purchased a car from here last month. With the purchase comes an MOT but when checking with out local garage at home the brake disks were 80% worn. The car itself is fine at the moment but that was an unnecessary cost.
