After a genuinely long day of looking around, cannot really state how much of a breath of fresh air walking into City Motors and meeting Saf (and the team) was. Completely turned our day around! Can honestly say I've never felt so well looked after as a customer buying any car in the past. From start to finish Saf really did go above and beyond - was constantly friendly and made me/us as the customer feel incredibly well supported throughout. A couple of new car niggles after were also quickly turned into reassurances that things will get sorted. Brilliant service and one that we would personally highly recommend. Thank you all!
Bought a Mazda CX3 from City Motors Friday 3rd April, great service, lovely atmosphere in the shop, professional and friendly. Had a glitch with the infotainment system, text Sufyan on Monday who was aware of the problem a new SD card had already been ordered, missed a call from CM today received a text to say the SD card had arrived if I wanted to pick it up, I popped in after work, the SD card was replaced problem sorted. Have a slight leaning to the right on my steering, will be booked in for tracking at a local garage all covered by CM. Nothing seems to be a problem for them. Highly recommend. Thank you City Motors I'm 100% happy.
a VW Scirocco from this dealer about two years ago. I sold the car on while owning this I discovered they had deliberately bypassed the turbocharger in a closed loop. This was done to avoid replacing the faulty turbo, which would have cost around \xa3700. It was clear this modification had been carried out by the dealer themselves, and they sold the car to me while fully aware of the underlying issue. I had the bypass properly removed and the turbo fault fixed before passing the car to its new owner. I\u2019ve noticed a pattern in how this dealer responds to negative reviews \u2014 lots of defensive excuses and attempts to shift blame. It comes across as classic gaslighting and smoke-blowing. At the end of the day, based on my experience, these guys simply cannot be trusted. Do not operate in good faith
I don\u2019t usually write reviews, but after buying my 8th car from City Motors, it feels almost irresponsible not to. At this point, Saf and Kam probably know my taste in cars better than I do. Between one for me, one for the wife, and the rest for the business, I\u2019ve basically got a standing order with them. I\u2019m half-expecting a loyalty card soon \u2014 \u201cBuy 10 cars, get one free?\u201d (I can dream.) Jokes aside, the service is consistently exceptional. Saf and Kam genuinely go above and beyond \u2014 not in the clich\xe9 way people throw around, but in the \u201cthey actually make your life easier\u201d way. No pressure, no sales gimmicks, just honest advice and proper customer care. What really stands out is the after-sales support. It doesn\u2019t end when you drive off \u2014 if anything, that\u2019s where they really prove their worth. One of the cars had a small niggle (because, well, cars are cars), and before I could even finish explaining it, they\u2019d already offered to pick it up, sort it, and return it within 5 days. No hassle, no chasing \u2014 just handled. And then there are the little touches that don\u2019t go unnoticed\u2026 like throwing in car mats for my C63S and even a new set of tyres. I mean, who does that anymore? It\u2019s the kind of thing that turns a good experience into a memorable one. In short, City Motors isn\u2019t just a garage \u2014 it\u2019s the kind of place you keep going back to without even considering anywhere else. Saf and Kam have built something special here, and I\u2019ll almost certainly be back for car number 9 (whether my wife agrees or not is another story). Highly recommended.
A long drive to see an advertised car at City motors but when we arrived the vehicle was exactly as described, we were able to inspect it on our own and any questions were answered fully, to be honest I thought car dealers as honest as this were a thing of the passed, all in all a great experience in purchasing probably one of their lower end priced vehicles and feel just as well looked after as anyone spending much more. Thank you James and the team for your brilliant service dealing with our son.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this car garage and feel compelled to warn others. First, the car I purchased turned out to have serious safety issues. Shortly after leaving the garage, warning lights appeared indicating problems with the brakes, airbags, and seat belts. These are critical safety features, and it is deeply concerning that they were not disclosed. It honestly feels like these issues may have been temporarily hidden before I came to view the car. Second, when I approached the salesman to address these problems, instead of offering help or a solution, he became aggressive and unprofessional. This kind of behavior is completely inappropriate and made an already stressful situation even worse. Finally, I was promised a 2-week refund period, yet after those two weeks passed, I still did not receive my refund. This is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of integrity and accountability. Overall, this experience has been frustrating, unsafe, and disappointing. I would strongly advise others to think twice before doing business here.
