Central motors Bridport, Sea Road North. Amazing bunch of guys. My son brought his car from them... and the service received has be amazing. Paul has always been easy to talk to and always available .. (even though really busy). We have had work done on the car to all was great... I am confused by the other reviews as.... I have had nothing but a great service from a really nice bunch of guys??..there are a couple of central motors outside of Bridport??? We will definitely be using Bridport Central Motors for here onwards.
I had a very poor experience with this car repair garage and would not recommend them to anyone. I took my car in expecting a straightforward repair, but the whole process turned into a frustrating ordeal. The work took much longer than promised, and I was given very little communication or updates along the way. Every time I called, I felt like I was being brushed off rather than helped. When I finally got my car back, the issue didn\u2019t seem to be properly fixed, and I was left questioning whether the work had even been done thoroughly. On top of that, the final cost was higher than originally quoted, with little explanation provided. Customer service was disappointing throughout, and there was no real effort to take responsibility or resolve my concerns when I raised them. Overall, I feel let down and won\u2019t be returning. I\u2019d strongly suggest others look elsewhere if you want reliable service and honest communication.
This garage is run by con men, please do not use them. My wife took her car in for an MOT recently. They carried out some work on the car to get it through the MOT but did not tell her at any stage how much it was going to cost, despite her asking for a quote on two occasions. She was horrified by the cost when she went to pick up the car. I\u2019ve since checked the cost of the parts from Dorset Autos and they are a fraction of what these cowboys charged (the mark up was well over 100% of the original cost). Speaking to other mechanics in the local area, this garage is notorious for over charging. Avoid like the plague.
Lewie was excellent when I needed an MOT at short notice. His communication was exceptional, called me at each step to explain what was happening, did everything in his power to get me on the road. The team were polite, clear and quick. Pricing was reasonable and I was given the choice at each decision point for issues that came up.

Cannot put into words how grateful I am to Paul and the team. T5 failed 5 miles out from Bridport while travelling West on holiday. Limped into Central Motors to see if van could be fixed. Not only did they diagnose the issue, they ordered the part and fixed in 4 hours!! Unbelievable!! Holiday was not ruined after all! Forever grateful, wish they existed neared to us! I can\u2019t fault the service I received, Louis (hope that\u2019s how you spell his name) couldn\u2019t have been more attentive and helpful. MOT passed with help from the hole team fixing the bits that were needed. Booked through the AA but will use in the future directly. Thank you team. The boss should be proud of how you worked whilst he is away.
AA towed me here as my fiat broke down on the A35. They could not have been more helpful, mended the car in 24 hours and kept me regularly updated. I am now home safely in the West Midlands and could not be more grateful for the excellent service I received at Central Motors.
