I purchased a 2023 Toyota Yaris Cross from CarSupermarket.com on 6th February 2026, advertised and sold as being in premium/excellent condition with approximately 42,000 miles, for around £18,000. I financed it through MotoNovo and was assured it was a great, reliable vehicle ready to drive. After just about 2,000 miles, I took it for its MOT on 10th March 2026. The test revealed the rear tyres had only 2mm tread depth, which triggered an advisory for immediate replacement of both rear tyres. This is dangerously low – experts recommend changing tyres at 3mm for safety, and while the legal minimum is 1.6mm, anything this close is a real risk, especially in wet UK weather. When I contacted the service team at CarSupermarket.com to raise this, they claimed the tread was actually 3-4mm and dismissed my concerns. This feels like they're trying to downplay a serious issue rather than stand by their "premium condition" description. I bought this car expecting no immediate major expenses, especially not on safety-critical items like tyres so soon after purchase. I've already spent a huge amount on what I thought was a near-new, well-maintained vehicle, and now I'm stressed about forking out hundreds more for new tyres within a month – money I wasn't prepared for because the car wasn't honestly represented. This is not fair, and it has left me feeling misled and ripped off. As a first-time buyer from this dealer, I regret it deeply. The lack of transparency on tyre condition (which should have been checked and addressed before sale) has turned what should have been an exciting purchase into a stressful nightmare. I would strongly advise others to get an independent inspection before buying from here, and think twice about trusting claims of "premium condition." Avoid if you want peace of mind – very unhappy customer.

I bought a used vehicle from this dealership. I had issues with it shortly after buying it. They promptly tried to fix it and after a week I decided to return it. There was no issues from their side and I received 100% of the money back, including extras I bought such as warranty. Even if I had a bad experience with the vehicle itself not all the dealership have a return policy and this really saved me from dealing with a faulty vehicle that would stay more in a garage than the road.
