Extremely disappointing experience with Listers Audi Birmingham. My Audi A3 Hybrid has had recurring electrical and hybrid system faults for months. In April, I was told the 12V battery was \u201cexcessively worn\u201d, so I paid \xa3355.80 for a replacement \u2014 yet the exact same faults continued. This time, the car was kept for two weeks, and the test plan was still \u201cinconclusive\u201d. Their own report shows a high\u2011resistance wiring issue between the ECU and J217, yet instead of diagnosing the real fault, they tried to blame \u201crodent damage\u201d. When I challenged the evidence photos they showed me, via email, the advisor changed his story and claimed he \u201cmisworded it\u201d and meant rodent presence, not damage. Their own invoice confirms this \u2014 it only mentions \u201csigns of activity\u201d, not any actual wiring damage. Despite failing to diagnose the fault, they still charged me \xa3150 for an inconclusive test. I\u2019ve now spent over \xa3500 on misdiagnosed or incomplete work, and the car still has the same serious faults. I will be escalating this to Audi UK Head Office, Santander finance team and the Motor Ombudsman as this level of service, accuracy, and accountability is unacceptable.
Unfortunately I have to press 1 star as a way of adding this review. I will keep short and brief. Extremely poor customer service. Managers do not get in contact with you to rectify complaints. The whole experience from the telephone to in person is abysmal. I\u2019d recommend to use Coventry Audi which is slightly further out but you will not experience the negative experience that Birmingham Audi provide. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Whether it be your purchasing a car or getting your vehicle serviced
Known Mark Green for about a year, whilst looking at buying Audi's for both partner and me. He knows how i love cars, inc cleaning, but im very fussy with condition and what i want. In Dec he took on challenge of finding me my perfect a6 avant and did not fail, in finding one in feb. Very professional and kept me up to date on finding car. Any issues i found, he didnt hesitate in getting resolved to a high standard. Would definately use again and recommend him as a contact, going forward.
I\u2019m a regular customer at Audi Solihull and although I was initially frustrated that one of the glow plugs couldn\u2019t be replaced because it was seized and there was a risk of it snapping and leading to a much larger repair bill, I honestly can\u2019t fault George Sansom at all. What builds loyalty and trust for me is honesty and transparency, and George handled the situation exactly how you would hope. He kept me updated throughout, took the time to explain the risks clearly and was upfront from the beginning rather than pushing ahead and potentially causing more damage and cost. In the end we came to a fair agreement and I genuinely appreciate the honesty and effort. Sometimes things happen mechanically that are outside anyone\u2019s control, but good customer service is all about how it\u2019s handled and George handled it professionally. Thank you again for trying and for being honest throughout. That\u2019s the reason I\u2019ll continue returning as a customer.
I had a fantastic experience with Ruby in sales. She did her upmost best at finding the vehicle I wanted within my budget while being professional and friendly. She wasn\u2019t pushy and was very down to earth and reasonable with my requests and what I wanted, if your looking for a new car I\u2019d definitely reccomend Ruby :)
