Perrys Bury Vauxhall
Crostons Road, Bury, BL8 1AJ
The car was in a bad state on arrival, dents, scratches, missing paint and a bad respray done by them on the front bumper. The interior was also quite dirty with crumbs and hairs, plus the driver seat was damaged. The price or description did not reflect this at all. The 'wet belt' they had assured me was in good condition, was actually in terrible condition, with very bad cracks. This is an engine known for this belt cracking and causing havoc due to rubber build up. Attitude of the sales manager was unhelpful in that he didn't believe the clear evidence of the timing belt being in a bad state and wouldn't do anything to rectify the car or reimbursing me for my now pointless travel. The only thing they offered was to fix some of the paint damage to a maximum of £100 which isn't going to get much. In the end it took them 4 days to return my full amount for the car and another 4 to return the deposit. Absolute time wasters, avoid buying a 1.2 Peugeot from 2022/23 in Olivine Green unless you get the timing belt changed by them.
The experience at Perrys Bury Vauxhall was fantastic because Michael was an incredible salesman who did his absoloute best to ensure I had the best service and knew everything about the car I was interested in. He provided excellent customer service and was kind and welcoming throughout the entire process. The process was made simple and easy through the service I recieved and it was an absolute pleasure to deal with him. He made sure to outline all details and even called to confirm the time for the collection of the car a few days before. Outstanding service by Michael and the team at Perrys in Bury, I couldn't praise them enough, I will absoloutely be sharing how great this dealership is to friends and family in the future!
