If you decide to return your car within the 7-Day Money Back Guarantee period, call us on 020 3901 3488 and we'll give you a refund. If you bought your car on finance we'll also refund your deposit. You can then drop your car off at a Cazoo Customer Centre for free, or we'll collect it from your door for £149.
Once we receive your car, we’ll check it over and agree if it’s good to return. Your refund will be processed straight away, except for your £200 deposit which we’ll hold onto until we receive a photo of the front of your signed V5C. Once we receive it, we’ll transfer the remaining amount and the money should be back in your account within 5-10 working days.
How returns work if you had finance left to pay on the car you part exchanged
If you owed finance on your old car and the valuation we gave you was higher than the amount of finance you had left to pay on it, we'll refund you the difference between the car's value and the amount of finance you owed.
You can also return your Cazoo car if the valuation we gave you was lower than the amount of finance you owed on your old car.
To prevent misuse of our returns policy, we may refuse a sale if you’ve previously returned two cars within a 12 month period for personal preference reasons.
If your car was delivered, we’ll refund your delivery fee as well as the £99 admin fee. If you collected your car, the £99 admin fee will also be refunded.
There’s no extra cost to reschedule if you give us at least 2 days notice, otherwise we may charge £149 to rearrange the return.
During your 7-Day Money Back Guarantee period, you can drive the car up to 250 miles. If you go over the 250 mile limit, we may charge £1 for every additional mile.
