If eligible, you can enjoy 7-Day Driveaway Insurance from Tempcover for the duration of the 7-Day Money Back Guarantee. Simply activate it before you receive your car.

If you’ll be using your car for hire and reward (which is using it for services or transport in exchange for payment), we’re unable to include the 7-Day Driveaway Insurance from Tempcover or the 90-day warranty and RAC roadside assistance.

How to return a Cazoo car

If you change your mind during the first 7 days of receiving your car, follow these simple steps:

  • Let us know by 8pm on the 7th day after your delivery or collection date.

  • Decide whether to drop the car off at a Cazoo Customer Centre or we can pick it up for free.

  • You'll then need to book a pick-up within 14 days of receiving the car.

  • Your £149 delivery fee will then be refunded back to you.

If your car was delivered, we’ll need to pick it up at the same address it was delivered to. 

All refunds are processed within 48 hours and the money will be back in your account within 5-10 working days.

The finer details

As long as the car is returned accident-free, unchanged and without damage, you’ll receive a full refund. This means the car needs to be in the same condition as it was received and without modifications.

A little note on extra charges:

  • If the car is driven over the 250-mile limit, every additional mile will cost £1 per mile.

  • If the car has been in an accident or is damaged, there may be additional charges.

  • In both scenarios, we also may not be able to accept the car as a return.
