Thinking of buying an Audi Q2?

Cazoo has a range of Audi Q2 cars for sale. If you're thinking of buying or financing a used Audi Q2, we answer any questions you might have below.

The style of the car

The five-door Q2 is a distinctive-looking small SUV with an upmarket feel. It’s available in a wide range of trims and some versions have contrasting exterior colour panels between the rear doors and boot. It gives you good interior space for such a compact car, plus a wide, well-shaped bootlid for easy loading.

How it drives

The Q2 is a sporty-feeling car, with stiff suspension that makes it fun to drive. This does mean it’s not quite as smooth as some rivals over bumpy roads, but it’s never uncomfortable. While cars fitted with the S tronic automatic gearbox are ideal for negotiating stop-start city traffic, there’s enough performance for confident motorway driving whatever version you choose. As a relatively small car that gives you a good view of what’s around you, the Q2 is easy to park. If you’re looking for a tow car, a Q2 will happily pull a light trailer or small caravan.

The interior

The five-seat, five-door Q2 has a roomy interior for a relatively small car (it’s shorter than a VW Golf). There’s enough headroom and legroom in the back for adults, while the 405-litre boot is bigger than many rivals’ and can comfortably swallow three medium suitcases. Four-wheel-drive versions have a smaller 355-litre capacity. Entry-level models have support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, plus air con and an electrically powered boot lid. Sport trim adds sports seats and rear parking sensors, while S-Line has part-leather trim. The Black Edition has sportier exterior styling, while the top-spec Vorsprung model has luxury touches such as leather trim.

Running costs and reliability

The Audi Q2 is competitively priced and, depending on model, can be better value for money than premium rivals. Fuel economy is excellent, with official mpg for petrol models in the mid-40s mpg and more than 50mpg for diesel versions. Low emissions mean low road tax, while insurance premiums are similar to rivals’. Service intervals of up to two years and 20,000 miles help keep your maintenance affordable. Advanced safety kit, including autonomous emergency braking, helped the Audi secure a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating.

How it compares with similar cars

The Q2 is Audi’s second-smallest SUV – bigger than the Audi A1 Citycarver but smaller than the more expensive Audi Q3. It’s similar in size to key rivals such as the BMW X2 and Mazda CX-3.
