There’s no set definition but a nearly new car is generally viewed as one that is less than 12 months old and has covered less than 5,000 miles.

High-quality nearly new cars are a great buy because a car loses a large proportion of its value the moment it leaves the showroom. Nearly new cars will generally have between two and six years of their warranty remaining, depending on brand.

The main advantage of a nearly new car is that it gives you all the benefits of a new car but costs less to buy and may still have years of its warranty left to run.

Nearly new cars are excellent value for money because most new cars lose more of their value in their first year than in subsequent years.
