I live 150+Mls+ from Hilton so a viewing was imprscticle. I relied on website for details of my vehicle which was described as black which I wanted. However when the vehicle was delivered the colour was a strange blue/black which changed in different light. The photos were taken in a poor light and did not reflect this. When Joe went through the sales details l was advised to take the warranty which I didn't want due to costs of repairs. This was very expensive. As I didn't view the vehicle I guess there's not much I can do. So, I certainly won't by on line from Hilton again. Raymond Harding.
Initially when we arrived at Hilton we were handed to someone to test drive a car but he didn’t seem interested in looking after us. Handed us the keys and said he’s too busy. So we test drove and straight away knew we wanted the car. We were passed over to a lovely salesman called Paul (we had a little one with us and the original guy was with someone else) who was fantastic. He made the process really easy and was very helpful / friendly. If we were to ever need another car I’d happily come back to Paul! Also the 2x ladies on reception were extremely friendly and helpful too! Love the car too! Upgraded to a family wagon and can’t wait to take it out for adventures!
Happy that we were left alone to browse although didn't get acknowledged for a while when we went into the office. My sakes adviser was very good I asked a few questions and he answered them. He also helped me set the sat nav up in car is I has never been in that area. He also let me use his charger as my phone has gone flat. I was overall very happy with my first experience at hilton.
The overall experience was pretty smooth. We appeared to have picked a very busy Sunday ,however , everyone was polite and respectful. Had a test drive which was no hassle. Even had a laugh with a bloke who offered to have our car of us. I joking said do you have any id. I said I can't buy it if you nick it. He off course worked for you. Free coffee also.
Would absolutely NOt recommend anyone buy a car from this garage, I brought a car just over 10weeks a go on 12/02/2026 2 weeks later the car was deemed not safe and illegal to drive due to extremely warn barely visible break pads. Whilst Hilton Garage did eventually collect and fix the issue the communication was and still is shocking. I raised an initial complaint as soon as I collected the vehicle and was told someone would be in touch to which they were not, I told them I had lost all faith in the vehicle I wanted to reject the vehicle and was told I was unable to do so. I then have since tried to sell the vehicle to which I have been unable to do because Hilton Garage have not provided me with the new keeper slip nor have they registered me with the DVLA as the new owner so I have no V5C for the vehicle in my name. I have raised this issue several times to only be passed from pillow to post. I have now had to fill out a V62 form myself with costs also covered by myself. Overall the whole process has been completely unsatisfactory.
It was a smooth process despite the very long wait to get the car and paperwork done. There was no pushy sales from Sean and didn’t feel pressured into by buying anything I wasn’t interested in. Isaac dealt with the paperwork promptly and efficiently. Very happy with my car and overall customer service, thanks .
