The BMW iX1 is available in two powertrain variants, with front- or all-wheel drive.
When BMW engineered the iX1, it was clear that the EV was centred on the driver. It provides a great everyday drive, and the smaller size also makes it easily manoeuvrable.
BMW enjoyed a lot of success with the X1 model, so the manufacturer decided to add a full-electric variant of it in 2022 to extend the brand's EV lineup. Even though the iX1 shares many of the same components as the non-electric model, it has unique blue exterior accents and a closed grille that shows that it's related to the iX3. As it hasn't been in production for very long, there haven't been many updates carried out yet.
Prices for used BMW iX1 cars start at £15,000
The BMW iX1 is inspired by the larger flagship iX, but offers more advanced all-electric battery technology and a more compact design.
Yes, the iX1 comes with heated front seats as standard. The rear seats can be fitted with this technology as an optional extra.
Even with the features included as standard, the iX1 delivers everything you would expect of a luxury car, from its premium-feeling cabin to advanced driver assist technology.
The iX1's powerful 309bhp drivetrain can take you from 0-62mph in just 5.7 seconds.
