Chrome Bumper Roadster With Great Potential

Car location
Trimms GreenThe MG B has long been held in high regard throughout the classic car world. Excellently stylish, well performing and backed by a wealth of enthusiast support and parts supply, these golden era British sports cars make great usable classics and the example we have here could become one such car. An early chrome bumper roadster, this 1972 roadster has been subject to an extensive repaint in striking yellow as part of a planned restoration by the previous keeper, however a change of plans means this is now being offered to market in its current form, needing "finishing off". With the engine turning over, some good quality parts and a vibrant repaint, this car really can be seen to hold great potential as a fun project for the winter or upcoming summer months. The bodywork itself is fundamentally well and can be considered presentable, benefitting from new fibreglass front wings. There are some lighter blemishes to the paint finish in places along with some overspray, however it likely that once everything is put back together this car will thoroughly look the part. The folding soft top roof looks in relatively good form and unlatches and folds with ease. The cabin can be considered OK, showing some signs of wear and tear consistent with a halted recommissioning project. The seats appear to have originally been black and were in the process of being dyed a very fitting brown hue. Mechanically the car is being sold as a non runner. We have had the car turning over comfortably and feel that to someone with the right know how, this car should start quite easily. **Registration for the car is FAO 871K**
