Mercedes-Benz S Class 1996 (P) - SL280 2dr Auto [5]

This lot will be auctioned via Historics Classic and Sportscar Auctioneers at The Brooklands Velocity; Mercedes-Benz World sale on Saturday 29th November. The Mercedes-Benz R129 models were sold under the SL-Class model name and were available from 1989 to 2001. Based upon a shortened W124 saloon floor pan, the R129 incorporated innovative engineering features such as electronically controlled shock absorbers (optional) and an automatically extending roll over bar. The level of standard equipment was high and included electrically operated windows, mirrors, seats and convertible hood.This example is presented in metallic blue with a cream leather interior and has a dark blue electrically operated hood and it also comes with its factory hardtop. The car comes with some service history and a MoT test certificate which expires 6th August 2026. These models are great as everyday cars with the benefit of being driven with its top down or up with the option of winter driving using its factory hardtop. Consigned by James Good
