Purchased a car last January from here. Great car no issues except not recieveing the log book despite being in touch most of the Year. He's always busy with a customer and going to call back but never does. Cost me in the end having to pay for a new one myself. Shame as was very helpful when buying just let us down with V5

Bought a Mercedes from c&a motors, the car had a number of faults they tried to put right, the car ended up flooding inside due to a leak, Paul then swapped the car for a bmw one series, I took the car to bmw for a recall to find there was over 2k worth of damage under the car…… and the wrong engine too! I wasn’t told about the engine when I bought the car, there response was well it was done by the dvla so it’s fine, lost a lot of money because of the con artist, I wouldn’t recommend buying a car from here

Bought a car from Paul at C&A. Excellent service, no pressure. Spent a significant amount of time going over everything with me, even helping me find insurance on the car I was looking to purchase so I had a full overview of the costs. Extremely helpful, excellent car with a full MOT. Highly recommended.

OMG check out the latest 5* review from Vicky Huck, and then check Paul's wife's Facebook. It's one of her mates leaving reviews. Message to Mandy and Paul - maybe if you stopped ripping people off and lying to them, you might get some decent reviews from proper customers. What a joke you are! Says it all when they have either one star, or 5 star reviews doesn't it. I'm sure if your car is OK then it's a great experience, but if you are unfortunate enough to have a problem, this company is worse than dreadful. They fob you off, ignore you, maybe even swap out working parts in your car, and put them in another car thats being sold, which leaves you with all the problems.. but that's a whole different story! The MOTs they provide with the car aren't worth the paper they are written on. I really wish I had taken notice of the very many one star reviews which are on the Internet about them, but I was daft and hoped I wasn't one of the unlucky ones... I was and it's cost me time, effort, a lot of upset and a lot of money to rectify. There are plenty of car companies out there, for your own sake, use another.

This guy has done 5k worth of damage to my car when they attempted to mend an oil leak on my car, that's when him and his staff weren't using my car and fuel for driving about! Now he saying he won't pay for the damage they caused because I had a stage 1 remap a few months beforehand. Honestly, they are an absolute joke, steer clear of them, buy from elsewhere. In answer to your response Mandy. The comment about me returning another Outlander to a dealer, yes I did, as it had an injector fault. However, unlike you, that dealer understood the consumer rights act and refunded me without any problem. He didn't attempt to mend it over and over again like you have with this car, to the point where the turbo is whistling, the clutch is grinding and there is smoke pouring out of it. You even admitted the bloke who you had working on it was out of his depth! Fancy telling a customer that the mechanic you have working on their car doesn't know what he's is doing and is only good for getting cars through MOTs..amazing that you think it's acceptable to let mechanics like that work on other peoples property! You can try and blame the latest lot of problems on the remap as much as you want, but apart from an oil leak, the car didn't have any of the above problems until you took half the engine out to get to the back seal. As far as you expecting me to be grateful for not having to pay for the car to be mended, it went into limp mode within 20 minutes of it being delivered to me, and its been one disaster after another with it, you mended the loose boost pipe causing it to be in limp mode and ruined the linkage, and from there its just gone from bad to worse. Did you really think I should have paid to have it put right - you are deluded! Oh and as far as the courtesy car is concerned, yeh I was really grateful to find out I was driving about in an untaxed car... and that's why you don't drive the 60 cars on your lot, they aren't taxed, Paul told me that. Maybe you don't see using my car to drive to Jenkins Autos to drop off a fly wheel as using my car for the benefit of your business, but I fail to see how it could be described as anything else, and that was just one of the very many trips my car made before you knew it had a tracker on it. I'm guessing it's one of your employees who lives at the house on the corner of Manchester Road and Fleet Street - that's where it spent an hour or so one lunchtime, meanwhile you had told me it was in your workshop being stripped down. The lies you have told me are astounding, I'm actually quite surprised you didn't come across the social media posts which were tracking the cars movements whilst your mechanics were apparently working on it. The post where it showed my car was in a field caused some amusement. Does it offroad well? Yes, Premier were aware of the remap, they also told me you had applied for the cost of a turbo inlet pipe and a boost pipe using my registration, in the time period you last had my car - I told Paul I knew and he went mad, swearing about data protection. He tried to say that it was for another car, even though you used my registration, what exactly were you doing to the turbo on my car where you needed new parts for it, or maybe the 'other car' was the other outlander you sold, after all those pipes will only fit an Outlander. Mitsubishi tell me the turbo on my car is brand new, but the pipes aren't. The turbo wasn't new a few weeks beforehand - odd huh. How's the other Outlander you sold, no problems with its turbo I hope. Eagerly awaiting the solicitors letter you threatened me with Mandy...tick tock! Again buyers, if you are reading this review, steer clear of this company. They come across as really helpful and I'm sure if you are lucky enough to get a car from them without problems, they will seem brilliant. However check review sites where this company haven't flagged the reviews for removal - I've spoken to one of them today and checked, they confirmed that C&A motors flag negative reviews which removes them. Not very honest that is it
