We began looking for a first car for my son and found the ideal car at Gouldings, except for the fact we live 3 hours drive away. We rang to enquire about the car and received friendly, polite support from Gregg. We were initially a bit apprehensive about buying a car without seeing it in person but Gregg sent us a great walk around video and reassured us that the car would be checked, MOT’d and valeted and even arranged (at a reasonable fee) for the car to be delivered to us. The car arrived in mint condition, with low mileage and not a scratch on it. It is a genuine little car and we are delighted with it. The whole experience with Gouldings was flawless from start to finish and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a new/used car without any hesitation. Bought a car and had to wait 33 weeks after paying for it before parts would arrive. Was promised a tank of fuel for my wait but I didn’t get one. On leaving the forecourt the car smelt odd but it had just been valleted so was thinking it was something burning off?? Returned the next week as it was a diesel smell when stationary! They agreed the injector seals had gone and they would fix it but I was fast loosing confidence with them. So they said if we returned the car they would fix it and give us a hire car while they did as it only takes two hours. They gave us a hire car, no fuel in it, the mirror came off in my hands and the door won’t lock as the lock is broken! So after three hours and more excuses I have given up and will have the car repaired myself at my own expense. So make your own minds is folks, would you like this level of customer service and sales? Pictures are of the hire car, the one they proudly lent me to say sorry for selling me a defective car!!
