I went to cribbs Ford as the Weston one has now closed, I wanted to buy a kuga as I had seen some deals online and also because I have a baby on the way and needed a bigger car. I spoke with Ollie there and the first time I went it was around 5pm on a Saturday (they close at 6pm) despite approaching us I feel as though he really didn’t want to spend the time that day going through options and made me an appointment for Monday instead. Went back on the Monday and after going through many options, some of which I had said were online but they did not know about or weren’t offering (free charger, low deposit etc) we eventually settled on buying the kuga in the showroom as it was there ready and I needed the car ASAP. We set handover day for the following Monday. I was then called the Monday morning to say the car had a recall on so I could not collect (this is not their fault and I understand this happens) however the lack of communication which then proceeded after this was appalling, I could not get hold of Ollie via email or phone call the rest of the Monday, I spoke to someone else on the Tuesday that advised me it was a quick fix and wouldn’t be months, to then have to try and get hold of Ollie again for a few days to be told it would take ages basically. In this case I then asked for a refund of my deposit and went elsewhere (which by the way was Taunton Ford, where I got the exact same product, same car, same colour AND a free electric home charger which I didn’t even have to ask for, for a few pounds less a month- no apparent recalls even after checking 3 times) I felt they didn’t want to sell me the car, didn’t want to communicate with me, and overall was not a great experience, I’ve used Ford multiple times and I even worked for them, but this is probably the worst experience I’ve had with them, Taunton Ford saved the day, although i believe they are a different franchise but unfortunately they maybe need to work on their communication skills at cribbs.
Trust Ford Stockport did a great job of finding our next new Ford, made the process simple and delivered on our requirements. Andy Robinson did a superb job of keeping everything simple, stress free and speedy and did a great handover so we left confident and excited for the journey ahead! I would definitely recommend!
This is now my 5th car from Trust Ford Stockport. I have had Fords since passing my test 40 years ago but what keeps me going back to this particular dealer is Steve King and the service he provides. He is polite, friendly, so knowledgeable and explains the whole process to you. Once your car arrives he will take you out to become accustomed to your new car. This was my first EV and he even talked to me about searching for the best electricity provider. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you Steve
