Purchased a vehicle from this dealership that unfortunately developed major mechanical issues shortly after delivery. When I contacted the dealer to resolve the matter and return the vehicle, they were entirely uncooperative, refused to accept the return, and attempted to impose unfair administrative fees. Because the dealership refused to assist or offer an acceptable solution, the matter had to be escalated to a third party to achieve a resolution. Ultimately, a full refund was issued through the CredCard, but only after significant effort by me. The customer service was incredibly disappointing once a problem was found. I would advise future buyers to be very cautious, get an independent check before any money exchanges hands and ensure they have adequate buyer protection in place before purchasing.
All the staff are very pleasant The work was carried out and the issues fixed. I dropped the car at 9.30am and was told at 12.30 that the m.o.t had failed and was given a quote for the fix which I was very happy with. I was told that the car would be ready for 5.30 and at around 5.15 I received a call and was informed that the wrong parts were ordered and so the car wouldn’t be ready that day. Slightly annoying but not a big problem and I was offered a courtesy car over the phone. The garage is about 25 minutes away from my home so I arranged for a relative to pick me up and take me to the garage. I was given the keys to the courtesy car and after not being able to find the car in the car park the lady who served me couldn’t apologise enough and said that it seems another customer had taken the courtesy car with the other set of keys. Luckily the person that gave me a lift had waited for me because they then had to bring me back home. I don’t think this reflects the competency of the garage and I’m sure it’s an isolated issue but that’s the reason for the three star rating. I was also told that as an apology the car would be washed and valeted and that I wouldn’t be charged any extra because the parts required were actually more expensive than the wrong parts that were ordered. How true that statement is I’m not too sure and after picking up the car it had been washed and the carpets were cleaned but to the same standard that it was done last year so I don’t expect they have done any more than the bare minimum that they offer to everyone. I still have another years included m.o.t and service as part of the deal when purchasing the car but I don’t think after next year I would go out of my way to take it to this garage. I would however purchase another vehicle from here in future but maybe avoid the m.o.t and servicing
⚠️ Avoid This Dealership – Extremely Disappointing Experience ⚠️ I visited this dealership with my friend; he bought a Toyota Prius, and I purchased a 2023 Lexus ES300h. On the day of the test drive, the vehicle was covered in heavy dust and dirt, making it difficult to properly inspect the paintwork and body condition. Trusting the dealership, I proceeded with the purchase. However, on the day of delivery, once the vehicle had been cleaned, multiple issues became visible, including deep scratches, scuffs, paint defects, and a misaligned passenger door. When I raised these concerns immediately, I was assured by staff that the issues would be logged, photographed, and resolved in a way that would leave me satisfied. Unfortunately, this was followed by weeks of stressful phone calls and delays. Eventually, I was instructed to obtain an official repair quotation from a body shop. I did so and received a written quotation/invoice totaling £700 for front bumper paintwork, driver-side wing repair, and passenger door realignment. When I later presented this quotation, I was shocked by the response from management. Instead of trying to resolve the matter professionally, I experienced what I considered rude and dismissive behavior, and I was told they would not contribute toward the repairs. The entire experience caused significant stress and disappointment, especially considering the amount of money spent on the vehicle. Extremely happy with our purchase of the BMW 1 series. Zubair was absolutely outstanding from start to finish! He greeted us with with a smile on arrival and had the car ready and waiting to view. He made sure the whole process was as simple and straight forward as it could be, made us feel super comfortable and went above and beyond to make sure we were more than happy with everything! We honestly cant thank him enough and we left smiling from ear to ear and have fell in love with are new car all thanks to Zubair. Buying cars can be an overwhelming experience however we knew we were in safe hands as soon as we met Abdul. Abdul answered all our questions and gave us sound advice on the cars we were interested in. He was brilliant and so patient with our boys too which made everything easier whilst making important decisions. We would highly recommend Abdul and the team at TheCarCo.
