ZERO STARS. Similar to other other negative reviews, my vehicle was damaged whilst in their care and they are not taking responsibility for it. When I purchased my vehicle, I also purchased a service plan which entitled me to three services and three MOTs, which is very convenient and cost effective. My issue is the aftercare received when taking the vehicle in for an MOT. On every occasion whether it a service or MOT, I am constantly being upsold for something which I have no requirement for. On my last visit, when handing my vehicle over for the MOT, they broke the electric window mechanism on the driver side (which was working perfectly well before handing it over), this was before even working on the car. I have since complained and have been told they will not accept responsibility for mechanical failures, but as a gesture of goodwill they will arrange an engineer to inspect the window and provide a quote for repair. So, in short, I give you my car with nothing wrong with it. You return it with a broken window and offer to charge me to repair it. It feels like a cash grab to me as there is no way I can prove they broke the window. All I can say is I do not know why they are required to open the window on a cool day when you are simply reparking the car (technically, you don’t need to open the window during the MOT). Whilst the dealership has responded to this review on Google to appear like they are willing to listen to negative reviews, their response here was after I had contacted them with my grievance. The response is merely an effort to appear like they care about customer complaints, they are not addressing the damage to my vehicle and I have referred it to the Motor ombudsman.
