Attracted by Romans of St Albans seductive advertising statement ‘…we never settle for anything less than excellence’ I recently bought a vehicle advertised as ‘remarkable’ and described by telephone as ‘immaculate’ and ‘nearly new.’ However, following independent professional inspection, Romans admitted in writing agreement that ‘there are some issues that will need to be rectified for you or any prospective buyer.’ Following my inspection, I was also surprised at Roman’s absolute refusal to rectify a failed sagging headlining that even the marque’s main dealer multi-point check, undertaken at my request and cost, had specified ‘does need to be repaired.’ Addressed by me along with other issues, I now believe that the car is indeed approaching ‘immaculate’ and ‘nearly new.’ Whilst Romans claim ‘world-class customer service,’ my experience suggested such a boast to be a hollow aspiration. In my opinion, Romans of St Albans are in a quite different league. Update following Roman's response. As a seasoned motor car collector, I observe that the other responses by Romans to its negative reviews appear to share two common characteristics - denial and blame shifting. In this instance, the speed of Roman’s response to my review, its tone, content and factual errors, inform the reader all they need to know and make my point precisely.

Amazing... I had my car with Romans of St Albans on SoR (Sale or Return). John was clear, communicative throughout, gave honest and clear advice with no pressure and let me ultimately make all decisions on the car. I thought about keeping the car and John simply said let me know when you want to collect it - no issue or hassle at all. Once the car sold, there was a delay in the new buyer collecting the car, I was kept up to date with calls and messages explaining exactly what was going on and I was paid the agreed amount when it was promised. Would definetly look to Romans of St Albans again, if I needed to.

I live locally and have an extensive history with supercars and motorsport. I actually did some business with Romans for the first time recently and dont really know why our paths haven't crossed before! They were superb to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. I will certainly be doing more business in the near and cannot recommend them enough. Now find myself browsing their ever changing stock list almost daily!

Recently purchased a car from Romans of St Albans and dealt with David Shore. Very pleasant and easy to deal with, David took time to structure a proposal that encouraged me to pursue and proceed. The whole transaction went super smooth and my car was delivered as promised.

I have to say that Romans really are a first rate dealership. On both occasions I visited them they were incredibly helpful and showed me every courtesy. Selecting, test driving and finally purchasing my next car was all made amazing easy going and a pleasure. I have purchased many cars over the years and I would rate this dealership among the top two. Thank you for make this last purchase a delight.

A fantastic experiance when dealing with Romans. Staff were very helpful and the Maserati Grand cabrio was lmmaculate. Would recommend to anyone after a prestige car to check out Romans first.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently purchased a Ferrari 599 GTB from Romans of St Albans and the whole experience was outstanding. The staff were friendly, professional, and extremely diligent — a true 10/10 service. Their knowledge and passion gave me complete confidence, and nothing was too much trouble. As for the car, it’s absolutely perfect — I haven’t stopped smiling since (as long as I keep it out of the hedge!). Highly recommend Romans to anyone looking for a Ferrari, supercar, or luxury car.
