They won a bid on motorway for my car, did not make any contact after to arrange collection, once i made contact told me no one available to pick up if i could bring to them and they would pay for a cab home, took my car abd they said perfect condition other than a fault caode that could affect the car in the future, the fault code does bot exist when I checked with BMW and this was an attempt to get me to drop the price on my car, i found out through reviews they do this with other customers.
Disappointing. February 2026 Phoned Saturday morning to arrange a test drive at 13:00. Arrived on time but ended up waiting nearly an hourly for the vehicle which I had been told was already on site. Was there all afternoon as there seemed to be issues with sales person availability as person dealing with us changed 3 times. Agreed the sale, paid a £2k deposit and signed the vehicle order form. Signed up for all additional services for 3 years. . Arranged to collect this Friday. Phoned them Monday to speak to Ivan (sales person) but person I spoke to said that he would call me back. He phoned yesterday evening stating that during the prep work something has come up and they are not sure if they will be retailing the vehicle. Supposed to be phoning me today with a decision. I choose to go and visit the dealership today to find out what was going on. The finance is in place with partial finance so credit check has been carried out now which will affect my credit rating. Insurance has been arranged. Vehicle security company organised for this Saturday. Vehicle history checks been paid for. Informed me on my visit that there is an issue with the gearbox which they clearly do not want to pay to repair and also some oil leaks. I do understand they would not want to sell a faulty vehicle as I took a 3 year warranty and they would not want to have to pay the repair but Blaize attitude towards me as the customer. Notified of this very last minute. Not sure why these inspections are not carried out prior to advertising to prevent such disappointment, inconvenience and time and money wasting. As in legally binding contract I requested a copy of engineers report and was told it would be emailed to me. Requested several times by email. Never received. Was told the matter had been passed on to another Manager. Never received any response from him.
After a long journey from Newcastle. Jess made us feel welcome and had all the paper work ready for use. Kaylee who jess handover us over to. To finish off the sale was very friendly. The shop was really busy and there was abit of back log cleaning the car but they made us comfortable and asked us if we wanted refreshments while we waited.
My experience is consistent with many of the other 1-star reviews. They did not send the logbook to DVLA; I had to apply for a logbook myself. Emailed them 3 times with no response. When you call them you likely be number 1 in the queue and then kept waiting for a long time. No promised call-backs. Read the details of the free guarantee and free AA cover - virtually worthless. The pre-sale 'Service' comprised an oil filter change. I am surprised a car sales operation is working in this way in the 21st Century. Wish I'd read the 1-star reviews before purchasing. If I could give them a minus score, I would.
