Generally, this is a well-established business. Our sales representative, Giorgiana, was great, and we really felt supported even when we had to delay our handover twice.However, we had a disappointing surprise when we found the car had not been cleaned inside as promised. It was in the exact same condition as during our test drive, with the only difference being a new paper floor mat. Honestly, I expected it to be in immaculate condition, especially the purchase exceeded tens of thousands of pounds and we have seen much better preparation for other companies
Deliberately arrived at 9am with the car we wanted identified on Hilton garages website the night before. We knew it would get busy. Didn’t have an appt and walked up to front counter and Lydia Billington, a sales lady looked at me, smiled and asked if she could help. This was nice as hadn’t been before. She looked after us all day and kept us informed throughout as we wanted same day drive purchase. We went for a Mini One classic which was great value for money. One previous female owner, 22 plate, only 16k miles. Lydia struck the right balance of not being pushy at over selling and gave us her thoughts and views regarding warranty length (we went for 12 months). We left for a couple of hours to walk the dogs and came back as arranged and she came to find me inside as she was with another couple when I went back to collect the car which had been cleaned inside and out and the tyre pressure light sorted which was on when we went for a test drive. It was very busy all day but Lydia was calm and reassuring throughout as was the whole atmosphere despite being busy. The free hot drinks machine makes a big difference while you wait (just needs a pot of stirrers next to the machine and regular toilet checks which were clean too). We left with our car that afternoon and were really pleased to sort it in one day when life’s busy. A tip for anyone is go with a car in mind to inform the discussion. Definately go there again. Saw a car i wanted and got in touch with Hilton garage,spoke to a very nice guy who spoke to me about the car.the car was 150 miles away and i needed a car as soon as possible this was a Tuesday he asked when i wanted the car saying Friday was the soonest i could have it which i agreed to. Then i got a call to say i could have it on Thursday,Hilton garage pulled their finger out and delivered .thank you Hilton garage 👍
Purchased a Vauxhall Astra with Alex today, I had great service and help from the reception then was able to test drive the car In a reasonable amount of time. The test drive was perfect and got back and sorted out payment and any other paperwork I needed to do was a great all round experience and left with a great car.
I gave 5 star for the reason is the sales person Jason Elliot was great very professional with a great sence of humar. From day 1 he has been top notch. We had our handover today which went great very Quick but everything explained in detail but not over the top. All I can say is Jason and hilton garage will be recommended by myself to friends and family. Thanks JASON
