Went to Hilton garage on 04/05, having looked at a few cars online we went to view and eventually reserve a car. We were helped by Tom Robotham, he was very accommodating and very helpful, thoroughly explaining the steps and stages, from reserving to picking me the car up 5 days later. We had a hiccup with the finance but Tom managed to sort everything out and within 30 mins we were able to drive away. Could not fault the way we were dealt with, no hard selling, no sales pushing, and clear communication. Would 100% use again.
Totally useless if you any problems with your purchase. Purchased a car over a month ago, had a problem next day,reported to hilton, they collected the car a couple of days after,so far ,so good. From this point it went downhill rather fast. The car was returned with an independent inspection from a local garage reporting the fly wheel had failed. No feedback from them after a week, so wife chased , told the car 2016 fiat was with a clutch specialist, another week goes by, wifes chases again , car need spealist clutch make as parts no longer available. 3 weeks in , wife calls again spoke to after service , they didnt realise they had car or where it was. 4th week in had to go to hilton garage as no communication from them still, they where surprised to hear our complaints and even more shocked no one had offered a courtesy car. Now on week 6 ,still no car no courtesy car ,they still have the logbook and our money. So buyers be aware.
After looking online at Hilton Garages website and seeing the reviews and what cars they had to offer I decided to make the 50 minute journey to see a few cars in person. From the moment we arrived Lydia was so accommodating, and answered all my questions and some very random questions from my 3 year old daughter (not car related 😀) I took a car out on a test drive and decided it wasn’t for me. I found another one I wanted to test drive but as it was not on site I arranged to go back a couple of days later. (I had to pay a small deposit that I would get back if I decided the car wasn’t for me, or if it was it would be taken off the final invoice) When I went back again I dealt with Lydia once more, and she once again was very accommodating and spoke to my daughter about her teddys birthday that she mentioned on the first trip to Hilton. Lydia was amazing, she went above and beyond to answer all questions questions asked, she wasn’t a pushy sales person, at that point we were advised she didn’t actually go into sales until the Saturday. As we liked Lydia so much we arranged to go back on the Saturday and ensure Lydia got the sale. She made the whole process so easy and was so patient with my daughter which I was very grateful for as buying a car can be a stressful time. Thank you Lydia for being amazing, if it hasn’t been for your kindness and attitude we might not have driven away that car and I’d still be looking. I hope our sale will be the first of many!
