Hilton Garage is a good place to get a competitive deal on a car, with a decent selection and generally helpful staff when engaged. The overall process was satisfactory, though the experience would benefit from a more proactive approach to customer communication and follow-ups. Matthew Kirby was professional, friendly, and easy to deal with throughout the purchase. He was knowledgeable and helped move things along, but there were a few gaps in communication at times. Overall, a solid but not flawless service.
Can not recommend this garage more highly, From the very start of experience made to feel welcome upon arrival by kind and courtesy staff even though they very busy which is always a great sign, Jason Elliott the sales man not only gave us a great trade in price for old vehicle he helped with additional warranty and even helped tax new vehicle so we could just collect and drive away, Will definitely be using this firm again for our next vehicle and have told all our friends and family how good they are.
Pretty quick service overall. Sales advisor who i dealt with on my first initial visit was ok, not the most professional in some instances. Did a PX on my car, which was never looked over prior to the collection of the new car and caused some issues on collection date. Collections person i dealt with when picking up my car was great, sorted the issues which came up regarding the PX which was appreciated. Almost ended up having to spend more money on the collection day, so wasn't the best. Otherwise not a bad garage, plenty of stock. Quick turnaround in terms of test driving a car and agreeing a deal.
Communication is somewhat to be desired, I placed a deposit on a vehicle under the provision it had a full service history and that the car was as described. On the day of collection after chasing the garage a few times I found out that the car had been used as a pull car and there was NO service history other than a pitstop record from a month ago. I'm just pleased I didn't make a 5hr round trip to find this information out, so frustrating. Additionally while I was on the phone discussing this matter the sale representative decided to talk to someone else mid conversation, obviously customer service is not a strong point. I run a business and there is no way my staff would treat clients in that manner, be aware of getting all the facts before making a trip.
I recently purchased a car from Hilton Garage and I couldn’t be happier. From start to finish the service was excellent, Dan and Paul in particular were especially helpful, honest and professional. The whole process was smooth and straightforward and the level of care and customer service really stood out. It’s clear they value their customers and take pride in what they do. I would definitely recommend Hilton garage when getting your next car.
