I wanted to share my experience with FOW following a recent vehicle purchase, as I think it reflects both the challenges that can sometimes arise, but more importantly how they are handled. Initially, there were some issues following delivery which were disappointing. These included concerns around the condition of the vehicle, preparation standards, and some climate control functionality that became apparent shortly after taking delivery. Naturally, this was frustrating - particularly given the expectations set at the point of sale. It is also worth noting that some of these issues may not have been entirely within their control, for example the transportation company arriving earlier than agreed, which may have impacted the final preparation. However, what really stood out was the way the situation was handled once it was escalated. Right from my point of contact, the General Manager, Davie, took full ownership of the matter and treated it as a priority. Communication was prompt, clear, and proactive throughout, and there was a genuine focus on putting things right rather than deflecting responsibility. The vehicle was collected promptly, and a courtesy car was provided, making the process straightforward and minimising disruption. All of the issues and concerns were thoroughly investigated, addressed and properly resolved, including both cosmetic and mechanical aspects, with no shortcuts taken. The level of care and attention to detail during this process was evident. In addition to this, agreed costs were reimbursed without issue, which was both appreciated and ensured that I was not left out of pocket. Overall, while the experience did not start as I had hoped, I truly believe that it is the resolution that ultimately defines the service. In this case, the way the situation was handled - particularly by Davie - restored my confidence and demonstrated a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction, something that is unfortunately, seldom seen today. Because of the way the aftercare was handled, I would have no hesitation in recommending FOW in the future. In fact, knowing that this level of support is in place for any potential issues would actively sway me towards them againโthere is real value in having confidence that you will be properly looked after, even when things donโt go as expected. Thank you again for the effort and professionalism shown in resolving everything to a high standard. I am very happy with the outcome, the vehicle and the way that everything was handled.
Bought a car in January. The tyres on the car were only just legal and should not have got through the mechanical check. The tracking was also out. They did replace the tyres however this was an inconvenience and took the shine off getting the car. There was only one key with the car. I have made multiple calls with the promise of a call from a manager. I am still waiting. I am really disappointed with the service provided.
Luckas was very patient and understanding when my bank locked my account on the card reader so he took me to my bank in winsford and got the payment sorted then took me to tax the car so I could drive it home. He went above and beyond to make sure everything went to plan.
From viewing the car to picking the car up it was a pleasant experience. The car was everything I wanted and the car checks before it came out picked up discs and pads which were replaced. Sophie was really pleasant and friendly. You canโt fault anything about the buying experience.
The salesman Mike Brown was very good during the experience. I was a bit disappointed with the collection of the car as the car was not very well valeted with a lot of dust and marks on the interior, the foot mats were dirty and it looked like it had not had a vacuum. There was very little explanation on the workings of the various instruments which I found a bit difficult to understand on first drive off.
