There were a number of issues upon collection. The car had been fresh in when we bought it, and a good preparation and valet were promised. The vehicle broke down on the journey home and was quite dirty inside. There were a number of household paint marks around the interior which were difficult to remove. Eventually most of the issues were addressed but the valeting was down to us. Even though another valet had been carried out, the car was still not in an acceptable condition. We had bought from FOW before and were far too trusting perhaps because of that. We would not go there again.
I decided to buy a bmw x225E I did research it and the one I found had 42k on the clock the car was £11800 so not a banger so after looking and checking the car I decided to buy it I did normal diligence ie service history he told me there was 3 months MOT on the car but the way the conversation went was that it would have 12 months again did spend a good amount of money I picked up all the wipers front and rear needed changing and my sales advisor Geoff said he would get them changed so Sunday came and I collected the car at this point money had already changed hands I find only the front was changed the rear was not touched so there is £18 I now have to spend but the worst thing was the tyres they said they put a new one on which they did but not one corner matches all different makes at the point of sale they were more interested in selling the extended warranty this is a typical car supermarket get them in and get them gone without a quality check the valeting they did was a Pauling I had that re done as the marks of spray had stained the leather if your going to buy from FOW go in with eyes wide open or failing that go to a main dealer I most definitely have learned my lesson I managed to save two of the tyres that were fitted as they were uniroyals it has cost a further £359 to fit the other two uniroyals again I did not buy a cheap car good luck to all that sale in this company
Recently bought a VW Tiguan from FOW. Reserved the car and went to view the next day. I was then allowed to test drive the vehicle with Neil Colwell, a sales executive at FOW. I sat down with Neil after the test drive and he explained all my options regarding warranty, finance and cosmetic protection. He was very professional and not pushy or insistent with any service that he offered. He knew his stuff and I was very impressed with how at ease he made me during the transaction. He kept in contact with me when I had questions that needed answering and I was very grateful for that. If all the sales guys at FOW are like Neil then you are in good hands! Thanks for everything.
