Liked the no sales pressure approach and the wide range of choice, was disappointed with how the car was presented on collection, would expected to have had a more professional valet. Alloys were filthy, interior not cleaned. Waited nearly half an hr for the car to be brought around and had clearly been through a last minute car wash while I was waiting. Cars should be serviced and mot’d prior to going on sale, had to wait an extra week for collection as issues were found during service and parts had to be ordered.
I've recently just bought a car from fords of winsford, and I can honestly say it was the easiest way to get a car the rep that delt with me was Danny he was brilliant very honest straight to the point and wasn't pushy at all, would absolutely do business with Danny again couldn't recommend him enough, thank you for making my car experience so easy
FOW is a reliable place to get a car, I have bought 5 from there over the years. Lana was great this time, no hard sell, knowledgable and helpful. Everything dealt with from walking in to agreeing on the car within two hours and collection a few days later. The only thing I could fault were slightly cracked reg plates and they were replaced with no fuss. I like the way they operate, no stories told, no pressure, no bold claims made, just this is a car at certain price and if you want it, buy it, and anything wrong with it will be sorted before you pick it up.
I had a pretty incredible experience with FOW right up until the deal was done. An issue with car cropped up a month after purchase (not a problem with that, it happens) but the after care from FOW is non-existent. Phone calls go unanswered, emails do not get replies, promises from the sales team to get someone to call never materialised. There was never a manager available to take my call or call me back. I have now been waiting for over a week for one simple conversation. One phone call would have avoided not only a 1 star review but would have also kept 4 customers within my family purchasing from FOW. The poorest aftercare and communications from the company mean we are now going to be finding a new dealer for future purchases. I do not want an apology. I just want you to do better.
