I brought my car in for a brake hose replacement as part of a recall. This was completed. On getting the car back my brakes proceeded to be faulty and having to consistently add brake fluid. When the car went back in it was identified it needed a new seal. How this was missed and I was returned a car with faulty brakes is beyond me. Dangerous and irresponsible by Ford. Dissappinted !!!
Kia Hull. A total nightmare. 21st feb purchased a used car. Problems never ending. Today 15th april was to collect a 2nd key as they had lost it. So after driving to hul. Kia hull still couldn't sort it even though it was arranged 2 week ago. The key was eventually programmed BUT they couldn't cut it. So now left to me to sort. Never again will I use Kia Hull. Total waste of time. 3 months after purchase and still not sorted.
I recently purchased (24th Feb 2026) a new Ford Kuga ST Line X from the Lincoln Ford car dealership. After taking delivery, I raised some questions about the vehicle. Initially, the salesman tried to mis-direct me by giving false information and when I again questioned this they tried again by changing their story. They also gave me false paperwork that isn't for my vehicle to try and cover up their shoddy salesmanship. Yet again I questioned this and the fact they gave the DVLA false information about the manufacturer date and to date, they have not ignored my emails. I then went to the main Evans Halshaw head office site to file a complaint (2 weeks ago) and they have also ignored the complaint. I have Ford UK doing their best to get my issues resolved and they are going to try and get Evans Halshaw to answer me. Disgusting customer service, add the fact that they also owe me £490.92 I'm not a happy customer.
Never used a main dealer before but after buying a newish car, I booked my car in for its first major service and also for them to look at the driver's door as the lock has failed and you can't open it. Dropped car off and they said they would call me when its ready. I ended up calling them after 4pm and was told yes, it's ready... and the door was under warranty, and a new part had been ordered, and they would call me with an update. Went to collect it and was told its outside and it's been hoovered and washed. First of all, I had to walk around the car park looking for it as no one told me where it was. Would have been nice for them to at least give me a rough idea.. Anyway, get to the car, it hadn't been hoovered but a bucket of water had been poured over the roof as the windows were now filthy from it. I was in a rush so decided to just drive home. Week past by and I called for an update, Said they would call me back. Nothing. So, a few days later called for an update, Said they would call me back, Nothing. Today spent 20 minutes with the phone ringing before they answered and guess what.. No ETA on the part and Said they would call me back. For a new customer that ''was'' looking at their service payment plan options when this is sorted that's me now done with main dealers. Back to local independent garages that care about the customer in future.
