Bought a car about 7 months ago, engine management light and service light came on, rang up Evans Halshaw about booking in and repairing, after a good few attempts I finally got though and booked it in. Date came, took it in, sat in there for 5 hours to be told it couldn’t be fixed that day but was safe to drive home even with the EM light on. Said they’d be in touch in the next 2 days to arrange a date to book in and repair. This never came, I had to ring a number of times to finally book a date for repair in. We then took the car to them on the agreed date only to be told “oh Jackie has messed up again, this job has been cancelled and somebody should have contacted you” shambles! Agreed a new date, new date comes and guess what “oh, we don’t have a job card for this” it’s embarrassing! Some guy finally got us seen to be then told it’s going to cost £230 and it would be ready for a week! Terrible! 3 wasted trips and a uber home.
Worst experience of my life buying a car from Scott. Had a delivery as I am disabled it arrived in the evening when it was requested a morning delivery. Cracked windscreen, malfunction on dashboard. A promise this would all be dealt with but 21 days later nothing has happened and still can’t drive the car. Tried to formally reject the car but they don’t accept it. I need the car for hospital appointments.
