Online service can’t be faulted, completed reservation and had quote and finance advised in short period of time. Whole experience was dragged down by dealership itself. Day of the car exchange came and I’ve spent 4.5hrs in the dealership. First nothing out of ordinary, checked the car, had a test drive within first 45min but then long 3.5hr wait supposedly waiting for pay off from the finance provider. Sale person was with business only 2nd week, unsure of answers I’ve asked having to check everything by his manager. He explained they were 2 man down too.
Overall a good experience buying my Mini Electric Hatch Cooper SE 32.6kWh Level 3 from Carsa. The price was very competitive, which is what initially attracted me. That said, the condition wasn’t quite as clean as the photos suggested — there are multiple scratches that weren’t evident online. I’m hoping these can be buffed out, but it’s something worth being more transparent about. The driver’s leather seat is also more worn than expected, particularly noticeable in certain lighting, so again a bit more accuracy in the listing would go a long way. One slight frustration was around collection. I was initially told the car was already at my local branch and ready to go, but when I arrived for my appointment two days after this call, I was informed it had only just arrived that morning and was still in valet. Not a major issue, but it did feel like mixed messaging. On the positive side, our sales advisor was pleasant, easy to deal with, and got everything sorted without any hassle. Overall, I’d recommend if you’re looking for a no-frills, straightforward car buying experience at a good price — just go in with realistic expectations on condition versus photos.
I would like to give these guys a good review. Id say they deserve a four star. But: 1. Viewed a car that had transport damage that they caused, but refused to repair or reduce the price of the vehicle to the value of the work that i would have to pay for to remedy myself. I was realistic with expectations asking for price reduction, but they only offered a very small discount that didn't even cover half the cost. They say that car is priced accordingly. But my research with many reputable sites suggest that the car is already on the higher side (not over priced however), so disappointed to say the least, as this would have been a done deal. 2. The reason id say only a four star is deserved is their very odd process of having to pay to view/test drive before purchase. Expanding in this and the main reason for the two star review is on three occaisons i have been promised said deposits have been refunded. Ive had to chase and been told they have not been processed at all. I cant help but think this is a way of getting money out of people who are not checking. In total I've had to chase 119.97 that have been promised and not returned without my chasing. Ok, but not a great set up. That being said they do have a good selection of cars to view.
